I hailed a cab to get away from this vile hobbit. It just seems like I'm out of luck. Or am I? Well, we're on our way to satisfy my Thai food craving. Ella took a nap while we were on the way. Her hair is in a messy bun, and she's wearing round spectacles. Her nose was undeniably perfect, as was her defined jawline.
I was so busy admiring her that I didn't notice she was already staring at me, smiling.
"If you want to kiss me, just do."
She laughed, fixing her spectacles.
She crossed her arms and legs again. Fuck, she looks so hot doing that.
We went into a Thai restaurant, and Ella let me order whatever I wanted.
"It's on me."
She said that and then winked at me.
And, oh, did I mention she just pulled the chair out for me?
Fuck, miss mixed signals meets miss mixed signals enjoyer.
Our order arrived, and without a word, I dug on it like a starved monster, devouring her first meal after millennia.
I noticed Ella looking at me. Her gaze didn't look judgmental. It's more of an "I'm so in love with you" look.
"Don't keep the food waiting."
I mumbled while my mouth was still full.
"Oh, shut up. I'm watching my food eat."
She shifted her gaze somewhere, and I almost choked upon hearing what she just said.
"Slowly, darling."
She said this as she handed me a glass of water.
"Stop saying inappropriate things while we're in public."
I glared at her, almost whispering.
"Only if you stop looking so inappropriately delicious."
She leaned in and whispered in my ear as she ran a finger on my thighs.
"Jesus Christ, what am I even doing here with you?"
I leaned back against my chair.
"You're here with me because I told you so. I'm your boss, right?"
She cockily said this as she looked at me dead straight in the eyes.
There's that smirk again. Fuck! I can feel my legs turning into jelly.
"Tell me, do you believe in fate, destiny, or things like love at first sight?"
She jauntily asked.
"Nope. Definitely not."
I answered.
"But when I met you," I intentionally paused, and I saw her intently waiting for a good reply.
"I definitely believed in rage at first sight."
She threw her head back.
"Well, that explains exactly how you hungrily attacked me with kisses last night."
She laughed in my ear as she stood to go to the restroom.
Her voice sent shivers down my spine. What is this hobbit doing to me?
