I talked to Bea about the setup I want for me and my future wife. I mean, for me and my personal assistant. She was okay with it, so I got her things delivered to my house.

Since it's going to be only me and her, this house will be spacious. It has four bedrooms. Even enough to accommodate Tatay Jessie and Mafe.

Shit, I forgot to call Mafe, so I immediately dialed her number.

Her phone rang twice before she picked up.

"How's everything there, baby?"

I said as soon as she picked up.

"You should probably book a ticket right now. I miss you already, Ate."

I can feel the sadness in her voice.

"And it's going to be my graduation on Friday. You should be there."

There she goes with that attitude again, which reminded me of my grumpy wife, who is currently throwing me a death glare.

"I promise I'm going to be there, but for now, I need to drop this call. I'll call you again later. I love you, baby."

I even said it with a smile, and I noticed Jema looking so angry.

"Who told you to bring all of my stuff here?"

She said this, raising a brow at me.

"Me."

I authoritatively answered.

"I'm giving you a raise."

I said before that she could protest.

"And I'm setting up my rules. Break one, and we're done."

I also raised one brow in amusement, giving her an upside-down smile.

"Fair enough."

I leaned against the table, crossing my arms.

"My rules are simple."

She started, sounding so firm.

"One, you're not allowed to go near me or my room unless it's for work. Two, you should always remember rule number one."

Wow, did she just forget I'm her boss?

"Lovely."

I laughed.

"But let me do this first."

I said, and then immediately pulled her neck towards me.

I aggressively kissed her, but she didn't protest. Instead, she kissed me back even rougher. She pulled me by my waist, so I'm now straddling on her on the couch.

Our kiss even got hotter when I felt her hands on my back. I heard a moan escape her mouth when I started grinding on her lap when we suddenly fell from the couch.

"Fuck."

I spat out.

Jema didn't look so happy. I just didn't know if it was because we fell or because our kiss was interrupted.

She stood up, fixing her hair.

"Rule number one, De Jesus."

She said this as she made her way to her room.
