There's no regret in running back home to go after the person I know I'm going to love for the rest of my life. We decided to just stay here in Siargao and fly back to Manila whenever the company needs Ella.
It's been nine months since we made it official. The memory of the first time she said she loved me will always put a score in my mind.
"Hey, long day?"
I hugged Ella from the back when I saw her all stressed out in front of her laptop.
"Rough month."
She answered as she wrapped her arms around me, pulling me in for a kiss.
"You know what? Maybe we could go out surfing. It's been a while since you've last flaunted your surfing skills with me."
I smiled at her, closing her laptop.
Just as we were about to head out, Ella clasped her arms around me and started kissing me passionately.
I pulled her closer to me, grabbing her waist and her neck.
"I don't know what I would do without you. I love you so much, love."
Ella said this while looking me straight in the eyes and then hugging me again.
I placed both her arms around my neck as I held on to her waist. For some reason, we're now slow dancing with no other noise but just our synching heartbeats.
"Can we just stay like this forever?"
She said this as she was leaning her head against my chest.
"Well, it's not such a bad idea."
I laughed at her, and she smashed my arms.
"Of course, baby. Besides, I don't see any other way to spend our lifetime together if not like this."
I placed a kiss on her forehead.
"I love you. Always."

After that cheezy moment we shared, we went to the beach to surf. I honestly don't know where to look, how to think, or, mostly, how to act. Ella's only wearing her sports bra and her swim shorts. I've never wanted to be a surfboard, and the water more than ever. The way she's dripping as she's walking towards me as her skin glistens in the sun.
"Could you not be this ridiculously hot? The sun's still high up."
I seductively whispered in her ear.
"If I'm not this ridiculously hot, you would not have made out to me at Bea's pub that night, and I wouldn't be the luckiest girl to have ever existed for having you. So no, I can't risk not being this ridiculously hot because I want your eyes and your attention all on me."
I'm literally on fire right now because I can feel Ella's bare skin touching mine.
"You seem stunned, darling."
She said this as she squeezed my thigh, which made me moan.
I threw the towel on her face when I saw her smirk from my reaction.

Mafe brought some sandwiches and juice when I noticed Ella's eyes so fixated on her phone, so I stood beside her, but she immediately turned it off.
"What?"
She nervously laughed at me and sat next to Mafe as if they were sneaking something behind my back.
She's been a bit distant for a while now because she said work has been stressing her out, which was a bit odd, knowing Ella. She's never been the workaholic type of person. She would rather let the company sink than have no time for us.
