I grabbed my head as soon as I opened my eyes and then realized I was already in my room with comfortable clothes. I am literally confused about how I got here.

I tried to remember what happened last night, but it's a complete blur. The last thing I remember was all the bottles I drank before I passed out.

I tried to get on my feet, but the world was spinning. Fuck.

"Hey, don't push yourself too much."

Jema helped me get back to bed.

"Stay there. I just need to get something."

She calmly said this as she tucked some of my hair behind my ear.

Now, I'm even more confused.

My door opened after a few minutes, and it was Jema with a tray of food and medicine who appeared from it.

She placed the tray in between us and started feeding me, which, by the way, made me blush.

I tried to take the spoon from her, but she threw me a death glare.

"I can manage," I said.

"I know you can, but let me."

Phew, that was so dominant of her.

She continued feeding me while also using the same spoon as mine to eat until all the food she had prepared was gone.

"What?"

She caught my eye, and my eyes widened when I saw her using the same spoon as mine.

"Take this."

She said it blankly as she handed me the glass of water and the medicine.

"Good girl."

She patted my head and smiled.

"Take all the rest you need because you have so much explaining to do."

I gulped upon hearing her say that.

"I need to go to the office, but I'll see you later. Just text me if you need anything."

Her tone remains serious, but my jaw dropped when she sat in front of me and gently kissed my lips.

She even looked at my face and rubbed it before she walked out of my room.

What in the seven circles of hell just happened? She must have had her head smashed into something, or she isn't Jema.

I laid back down and started thinking about what happened last night. Maybe it was a sign for me to just be utterly lost in Jema. To let myself be entirely in love and vulnerable to someone again despite all the fear within me.

I grabbed my phone and texted Jema before falling asleep.

"Thank you. That means a lot to me."

I know it really did, and I know she really does.
