20.Stongest little sister

They were all sitting on the dining table along with all the birla's. Akshara was looking really upset with her sister's decision. Aarohi was constantly looking at Akshara who was also looking back at her. The tension was clearly evident between them. Neil and Abhimanyu were looking at both the sisters and again at each other. Aarohi was eating like she wanted to finish her lunch and talk to her sister.
They finally finished their lunch in silence while the other birla clad were very excited to have Neil at the lunch after so long. But the four seemed to be on their own.
Neil and Aarohi were in Neil's room waiting for Akshu and Abhimanyu to join. Neil broke the silence, "Chipkali ho sakta hai ki tumhe gussa aaye mere baat pe par Bhabhi galat hai is baar. Unke baaton se mujhe sirf gussa aa raha hai."
"Toh gussa control Karo apna. Is baar main use shaanti se samjhaungi" replied Aarohi not in a state to fight again with her sister. "And I'm sorry Akshu tujhe blame kar Rahi hai meri decision ke liye."
"Tum kyun sorry bol Rahi ho I'm sure bhabhi is concerned for you aur unhone isi liye aise keh diya. I know tum dono ke bond ke aage no other relations, par main bhi unke devar hun. Bhabhi hai voh meri and unka haq banta hai."
"Galat samajhne ka"
"I told you she's concerned for you."
Aarohi took a breath and sat on the bed. Neil followed her and sat next to her.
Akshara opened the door and went straight to the work station of Neil which was of course empty.
Abhimanyu came and closed the door behind.
"Vikrant phir se aaya tha" said Aarohi faintly remembering the day.
"Kya" said Akshara looking up towards Aaru "aur tu mujhe yeh baat ab bata Rahi hai"
Aarohi is squeezing her hands due to anxiety.
"Sirf main jaanti hu usne meri zindagi ko ek raat main kaise palat diya. Bhai ke alaawa koi mere paas bhi aata hai na toh rooh kaap jaati hai meri." Said Aarohi with shivers in her voice indicating how her soul shivers when someone touches her. "Ab tu hi soch ke bataa kya karna hai."
Aarohi left the room leaving Akshara in tears.
Abhimanyu sat next to her rubbing her back to calm her down.
Neil got up and knelt down in front of Akshara holding her hands.
"Bhabhi aapne khud airport main dekha na kaise voh Bhai ko hug bhi nahi de paa Rahi thi... Choti si side hug bhi nahi. Agar maine Aaru ke dimaag main ye Idea daala bhi toh mujhe nahin lagta maine kuch galat kiya hai."
"Main itne saalon se bade papa ke baat ko leke baith gayi thi par ek baar bhi nahi socha aaru kis se guzar Rahi hogi. Ek baar bhi use nahi roka jab voh aise trauma lekar akeli jeene Ghar se bahar Jaa Rahi thi. Are uski yeh khissa mujhe Puri tarah pata bhi nahi hai. Agar pata karne ki koshish ki hoti toh use justice dilane ki koshish bhi karti shayad. Maan gayi bohot strong hai meri behna." Said Akshara in guilt.
"Main itni buri behen hu na ki Aaru ne uske vajah se suicide attempt bhi ki thi phir bhi main andaaza nahi laga payi ki Aaru ke upar kya beet rahi thi."
"Thi nahi bhabhi...hain" said Neil correcting her. "Aaj bhi bohot kuch beet rahi hai uski upar. Trauma hai bhabhi. Yeh gaanv ko na Aarohi ne apne andar dafan kardi hai. Choti si kaanch bhi Tut jaati haina toh trigger hota hai use. Voh gaanv dard Dene lag jaate hai. Phir bhi usne akele un sab ko jhela. Ab toh Hume uska saath Dena hi hoga na bhabhi."
Akshara nod her head crying. Abhimanyu is consoling her and Neil left the room saying "Main chipkali ke paas Jaa Raha hun. Ro Rahi hogi akeli baith kar kahin."
Aarohi was sitting in the garden and crying silently. Neil went up to her and softly said "bhabhi Maan jaayegi usko sazaa dilvane ke liye aur nahi bhi maanenge toh bhi tumhe justice milega chipkali."
"Mujhe pata hai voh Maan jayegi." Said Aarohi with a scoff, rubbing her nose with the back of her hand.
Neil smiled at her confidence.
"Tumhe Kairav aur Vansh se baat kab karni hai?" Asked Neil once she was calm and normal. "Maine subah baat karli hai." Said Aarohi. Neil looked at her and said "bataya nahi...kya Kahan unhone?"
"Kuch nahi... Kahan ki Aaj sham milke baat karenge."
"Kab Jaa Rahi ho?"
"Matlab tum nahi aaoge?"
"Agar tum kahon to aaunga lekin baat toh tumhe hi karni hogi na."
"Tum sahi keh rahe ho. Baat toh mujhe hi karni hai. Main akeli chali jaaungi."
Neil nod his head.
'main isme tumhare saath hu chipkali bhale hi main har jagah tumhare piche naa rahu.' said Neil in his mind.
Aaru looked at his smiling face. 'mujhe pata hai main isme akeli nahi hun.' said Aarohi to herself.
"Main Bhai ko Milne Jaa Rahi hun. Aane ke baad baat karte hai."
"Ghar Jaa Rahi ho?"
"Nahin. Cafe main mil rahe hain."
"Ghar main sabko pata hai kya tum Udaipur main ho?"
"Pata hoga. Bhai nahi chupate."
Aarohi left to meet Kairav and Vansh.

In Cafe.

As soon as they heard her decision...
"Aaru tumne bohot sahi desicion liya hai. Hum tumhare saath hai. Haina Kairav." Said Vansh as his little sister is trying to take a stand for herself.
"Bilkul. Hum sath kade hai teri. Lekin..."
Aarohi and Vansh's smile faded.
"Lekin kya bhaiya?"
"Bade papa ko kaise bataenge" said Kairav.
"Unhe manana bohot mushkil hai Aaru" said Vansh with disappointment.
"Unhe aajbhi lagta hai ki galti meri hai. Jab main case karungi Kam se Kam unhe tab samajh main aaye ki main galat nahin hu. Mujhe unse koi expectations nahi hai. Koi farak nahi padta mujhe. Aap raazi ho ki nahi case karne ke liye?"
Kairav held Aarohi's hand and gave a smile assuring her that they are with her.
"Tujhe humse bhi nahi farak padna chahiye. Mujhe pata hai tu bohot strong hai aur justice leke rahegi." Said Vansh with pride on his strongest little sister." Aarohi smiled.
"Abhi der hone wali hai tu Ghar Jaa. Aur haa yaad rakhna bohot jaldi bade papa tujhe khud Ghar leke aayenge maafi mang ke." Said Kairav before leaving.
They left home.

Akshara was walking restlessly in the living area, waiting for Aarohi.
Aarohi had just arrived and Akshara ran towards her and hugged her. But Aarohi stood still not reciprocating. Akshara whispered in Aaru's ear amidst the crying "Main tumhare saath hu Aaru. And I'm sorry tu itne din akeli yeh sab jhel Rahi thi. I'm sorry." Aarohi hugged Akshu as a lone tear rolled down her cheeks. Aarohi, still hugging Akshu, smiled at the man behind all this.
