I was walking around heaven with my husband and son. It was my first day off in ages and I intended to focus on my family-
"Look daddy new people" my son pointed at-
"The princess!" I spat my drink out in disbelief.
"What in god's name are they doing here" husk muttered in disbelief.
"I don't know but I'm going to make them regret coming to my turf. Here hold halo" I handed our child over to husk and was about to march over when-
"Angel!" Husk grabbed my hand "do you really think we should start a fight in heaven's centre?"
"Better than waiting for the extermination" I growled.
"Angel calm yourself" husk said firmly "if anyone heard us-"
"You should listen to your partner angel" sera without warning teleported us to her cambers.
"Ma'am why is the princess here?" husk asked. Halo's innocence baby blue eyes held a level of confusion. He shouldn't be here for this.
"Thanks to you two and your failure to shut that girl down she's gotten Adam involved" she ran a tired hand through her face "I'm going to need you to shut this down. Can I trust you with this simple task?"
"Yeah yeah I got it" I waved her off "now can you teleport us back alright. We need to drop halo off"
"Of course" she nodded.
"Bye bye miss Sera" halo waved cutely as we were sent back to the centre.
"Hey mol" I called my sister over.
"What's up anti" she smiled softly.
"I know this is last minute but me and husk have been called into work. Could you watch halo for me"
"Of course. I'd never say no to spending time with my favourite nephew" she grinned.
"You're the best mol" I smiled.
"I know" she giggled.
"No! This was supposed to be a fun family day" halo whined as I handed him over to Molly.
"I know baby but daddy's job is very important. We do this so we can protect you and aunt Molly. Please don't lose that smile" I stroked my white kitten head.
"Okay" he sighed as his tail curled around him.
"Good boy" I kissed his forehead before turning to husk "come on, let's deal with this shit show!"
