Alastors pov

I walked down the hallway hand in hand with Lucifer when we heard a noise coming from the closet. Curious we opened the closet to find king Adam and lute making out.

"Ah fuck!" Adam stumbled back after finding us "please don't tell vaggie!"

Lucifer let out an excited squeal while I looked on uncomfortably. I feel like we shouldn't be watching this.

*Time skip*

"A double date?" Lute tilted her head in confusion.

"Yeah it's what close friends do when they're dating. You think it's a good idea don't you al?" He looked up expectingly.

"If it's something you want to do I have no obligation" I smiled at him. It's nice to see him come out of his shell so even if it's ridiculous I'll go along with it. It's what a good partner would do.

"I'm not sure luc" adam muttered "we're new at this dating thing and it might be too much for-"

"I'd like to try it" lute spoke up.

"Oh, okay then" he nodded at his girlfriend before turning to us with a smirk "let's do this shit!"

*Time skip*

"So what will this date in-tale" I asked.

"There's a few things we could do" Lucifer read through a pamflet "we could go bowling, archery, axe throwing, ice skating along with a bunch of other things"

Adam snatched it out of his hands "interesting. Let's make this a competition. Let the best couple win!"

"Oh you're on!" Lucifer and Adam ran off, leaving me and lute to trail behind. This is going to be a long day.

The first competition was bowling. Me and Lucifer were a little clumsy but adam and lute being past soldier's gave them perfect accuracy.

The next was miniature golf. Adam and lute sent the balls flying while me and Lucifer expertly hit them into the hole.

The next was a cooking class. Lute was cutting tomatoes with a sword. Adam tried to stop her only for his sleeve to catch on fire. While they were flailing around me and Lucifer finished a perfect bowl of jambalaya.

The next was wine tasting. Sadly Lucifer was a lightweight so while Adam and lute downed every glass of wine like it was nothing.

The next was a scavenger hunt. Lucifer was like a bloodhound, finding everything on his list. I watched him proudly as he singlehandedly won the competition.

The next was axe throwing. It wasn't even surprising that Adam beat us by a landslide.

The next was a karaoke. Me and Lucifer tried our best but there was no beating Adam and lute's melodies.

Last was ice skating. Lucifer was like a little swan on the ice. Having practice I managed to keep his pace. Adam and lute unfortunately were as clumsy as fawns.

"Alright addie we're neck in neck" Lucifer tallied up the scores "you know what that means"

"Sudden death round?" Adam grinned.

"Hell yeah" Lucifer fist bumped him "may I suggest an escape room"

"Oh that sounds bitching!"

The boys chatted excitedly among each other. I turned to lute with a smile "it seems like our endgame is nearing. May the best man win"

"Don't worry, I will" she smiled mischievously. Little does she know I'm a competitive spirit.

*Time skip*

This escape room took place in a furnace. Little tacky but I suppose it does the trick. The four of us split into teams of two, looking for a way out. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a passed out guard fall on the on button, lighting the room ablaze.

"Fuck!" He stamped the flames off of his cape.

Lucifer turned to the others "truce?"

The three of us nodded before using our combined power to find the clues and open the door.

"I guess it was a tie in the end" Lucifer crumbled up his tally chart.

"I think it was a good why to end it" lute smiled softly.

"I guess so" Adam pouted. Lute giggled and hugged his arm, making him crack a smile.

"What about you allie?" Lucifer leaned forward expectingly "did you have a good time?"

"I had a wonderful time darling" I took his hand, kissed it and led him back home with the others. Healthy competition and a near death experience. I'd say that's was a perfect date!
