Seven.

Seven japanese middle aged men, dressed elegantly in black suits, were sitting in front of Seungcheol and Chaerin.

One of them being a translator, Jeonghan.

Chaerin admired him.
He was elegant, classy and on top of that extremely beautiful.

His legs were crossed as he was listening to what Seungcheol was saying, translating it to his companions in a split second.

In the mittle of the conversation, Chaerin asked herself what purpose she had in this.

Seungcheol did majority of the negotiation, while she was just sitting there trying to follow the conversation.

Luckily the japanese men were friendly and agreed to everything Seungcheol asked for. Since Chaerin had no experience and didn't know any japanese, she tried to read information out of mimicking.

She got ripped out of her daydreaming by Seungcheol who grabbed her by the wrist to pull her up. Both bowed before leaving the dining table.

"They were friendly, i'm glad this went well-" Chaerin relaxed as she walked beside Seungcheol, who had a quite stressed look on his face.

His hand moved to her back, as he pushed her to walk faster.

"Move" he just whispered.

Her heart skipped a beat as they were almost running to their car.

What the hell went wrong?
I thought they negotiation went good?

Their driver held the door open for Chaerin, while Seungcheol slid into the car himself.

Seconds after Chaerin's door was closed, shots were fired. The bullets hit the car, some even damaged the outer mirrors, while the driver was speeding away.

"What the hell happened?" Chaerin turned around to look outside of the rear window, her head was quickly pressed down by Seungcheol.

"You need to stay low, unless you want to get shot in the head." He said, looking right into her eyes.

Seungcheol felt bad.
For a split second he could see the pure fear in her eyes, the innocence and the tears.

He quickly took her hand and squeezed it slightly.

"Your father showed you how to shoot right?" Seungcheol asked.

She nodded, looking down at his hand while trying to control her breathing. In the meantime, Seungcheol grabbed under the seat and pulled out two guns.

"They're loaded and unlocked, you just need to aim and shoot." He placed the cold metal in her hand.

Chaerin's breathing was quick and it seemed like she would pass out any second, the situation being way too overwhelming to her.

"Listen, you got this. I'll have you back, no need to worry." Seungcheol said, making her look into his eyes, before leaning over the backseat and firing his first shot.

The glass of the rear window shattered in a million pieces and flew away with the wind.

A couple of more shot were exchanged between Seungcheol and the japanese men.

Chaerin took a quick breath in before reaching out and firing back at these guys. Her body was filled with adrenaline, causing even seconds to feel like hours.

She didnt even know if she hit anyone or if her shots were simply flying into the night, but Seungcheol's landed for sure.

It didnt take him long to get rid of the men, leaving only one driver.  He hid behind the backseat as he was reloading his gun, glancing at Chaerin, who was heavy breathing beside him.

"You need to shoot his tires." He quickly said, not looking at her.

Chaerin's eyes widened.

"I can't aim that fast." She stated, staring at the men beside her.

"It's either him or his tires." Seungcheol was quick to get back to his position, aiming for one of his tires.

Aim,
Fire,
Bang.

One tire down, three more.

"Quick, Chaerin." He yelled through the noise around them.

Chaerin didnt hesitate.
He told her to shoot, so she did.

She closed her eyes, leaned over the backseat and shot.
The squeak of the tires was loud, the horn of this guys car beeping as his head was laying on the wheel.

She just ended someone's life.

She couldn't open her eyes before a loud noise surrounded her, her body being pressed with forced against the front seat.

Her head hit her headrest and everything went black.
