Chapter 7
Cruel
They all slept here, and when I woke up, they were already eating. I joined them for breakfast, at pag katapos, nag yaya ang mga pinsan kong bata na mag swimming.
I didn't have anything else to do, and I would probably only be here for one more day before returning to Laguna.
I glared at her.
My legs were submerged in the water, and I wore shades. It was only eight in the morning, but it was already hot.
If she does anything else, I'll knock her teeth out.
The embarrassment from last night was overwhelming. I thought I would forget about it when I woke up, but it just kept coming back to me.
The alcohol had worn off from my system, at nang balikan ko ang convo namin ni Sergo ay parang ayoko nang pumuntang Laguna.
He didn't believe that it was my cousin who did it, and it was audacious of him to think that I actually desired his body. If it were true, yes, pero as a friend.
Nakakahiya.
It's normal when you're friends.
Napangiti ako. Right. What I did last night was normal.
My relatives went home in the afternoon. If earlier the mansion was filled with noise, now it's quiet again. It's so boring because I have no one to talk to.
I spent the whole day swimming, going back and forth in the pool. I would only come up when I needed something.
We stayed up until the early hours of the morning. So, when I woke up the next day, it was already almost noon.
I sat up and looked at her. She was dressed, wearing her necklaces and jewelry. It was evident from her appearance that she came from a wealthy background. She moved with such grace, and at first glance, she seemed intimidating, but she wasn't.
She's the kindest and most caring woman I've ever met. Even though I have a father, I never felt his love, but Mommy made up for it.
She wasn't just a mother to me, but also a friend, a father figure, and a companion.
"Maybe tomorrow. I'm not sure yet. How about you? Where are you going?" I asked because she was dressed up.
"Just going to do some grocery shopping," she smiled at me.
Kumunot ang noo ko. "Can't the maids do that?"
Tumayo siya at hinalikan ang aking noo.
"Wala akong magawa rito, iho. Sasamahan ko si Josephine mag groceries. Nag paalam na ako sa daddy mo."
