And I was right!
Ms. Mehta is indeed a really wonderful personal assistant.

And just to be clear, since I saw her taking care of Arth, I can guarantee that I don't really need to marry for a long time.

Mom's main motto to make me marry someone was that she would be able to go to as many pilgrimages as she wished for.

And now she can go, since I have someone who can look after Arth if she can't.

I get it, it's a little selfish, but it's working anyway, so I don't see a problem.

I came back home from work with Arth who is currently wandering all over the house.

Marriage is a big no for me. If I have to, I would call it my worse nightmare.
Some scars never heal.
Mental scars are always imprinted on the mind.

Physical scars are for a short time, but I'm unlucky in even that.

I thought as I eyed the huge scar on my back, that starts from back of my neck to my lower back. It looks as if it's a outline for my backbone, but only I know the pain behind it.

This is the reason I always wear something to cover my back as I can never imagine Arth's reaction to it.

I took a quick shower and went out, to see mom and Arth sitting on the dining table.
While mom was sipping on some tea, Arth was munching on chocolate donuts.

"Mom, would you care to explain why you dropped him off directly without informing me? " I asked as I sat down next to Arth.

"It was a very immediate decision. My friend was admitted in the hospital, would you have me take him to the hospital with me? " She asked raising her eyebrows.

"No... " I immediately replied.

"Then what was I supposed to do? I couldn't understand anything so I had to drop him off, anyway he loves it there. He really likes Ria. " Mom said and before I could say anything, Arth said,

"No Dadi, Ria auntie left. Today I was with Adhira Auntie. " He said with a smile on his face.

He has grown fond of her.
That's nice.

"What? " Mom asked with confusion. "When did Ria leave? And who is this Adhira? "

"Mom, Ria is getting married, so she has resigned and Adhira Mehta is my new assistant. She is also Ria's best friend. " I clarified.

"Oh, and when were you going to tell me about it? " She asked, lightly smacking my arm.

"Mom it's just been a week since she started working for me. I haven't even yet told her whether she is permanent or not. " I said picking up a donut.

"So... Did you give her a job only because she was Ria's friend or did you like her? " She asked with excitement.

"Mom, can you please stop acting like a teenager! " I said with frustration and was about to bite into the donut when she snatched it away from me.

"Only for kids and teenagers, Not for adults with a frown on his face. " She said and took the donut and Arth along with her to sit in the garden to which Arth giggled loudly.
