Adhira

It's official,
I'm getting married.

Wow, it feels really weird and unimaginable.
I mean, it's unbelievable that I'm getting married but to top it, it's more unbelievable that I'm getting married to a CEO.
Like a richie rich person.

I guess it will be more unbelievable to Sir that he's getting married to me. Like a literal nobody.
Hope we just win the custody and then we can seperate and he'll be able to be with a girl of his choice. Most importantly, his standards.

But I guess we can never control our faith.

Getting dressed in a reddish pink saree, which I purchased yesterday, I'm finally ready for the wedding.
We aren't doing it traditionally, but I guess atleast a saree is important, but again, that's just my thought.

I took the only bag, that I wanted to carry. It just has my clothes and nothing else, not like I actually need anything else.

Taking a last glance at everything, I walked out and locked the door.

I gave the keys to the landlady who actually had a little tears in her eyes.
I bent down to touch her feet, but instead she hugged me.

"I'll miss you, dear. Do come and visit us, this is your Aunt's house." She said.

"Thank you." I said, hugging her back.

The can that I booked had arrived, so waving a final goodbye, I sat down in the cab.
"So my vidaai is done!" I thought to myself.

After an hour drive, I reached the court where the wedding takes place.
As I got down, I saw that all three of them had already arrived.

"Sorry, am I late?" I asked.

"Actually No. Mom was way too excited so she insisted that we come here early." He said, giving me a smile.

"I know it's too late, but I want to ask you again, for the final time, are you ready to marry me?" He asked, as we continued walking.

"Yes, that's why I'm here. Trust me, I'm actually really ready to marry you." I said, as we reached the lawyer who was supposed to marry us.

The lawyer, his mom and Arth were the only ones present in there and it made me more comfortable.
We both then did the procedure required and exchanged the garlands.

The lawyer finally declared us married and all went out of the room.
"Adhira?" Sir called out.

"Yes?"

"Actually we have to go to our Kuldevi Mandir now." He said nervously.

"Why are you nervous?" I asked.

"We have to go because my mom has kept a pooja that is for marriage couples. It's also actually kind of a wedding, as I've to tie the nuptial chain around your neck and also the vermillion." He replied.

"But, weren't we supposed to get married like only on paper?" I asked, shrugging my shoulders.

"We were. But I was not able to say No to my mother. If you don't want to, then I can try to convince her." He replied, and immediately proceeded to go to his mom, but I held his hand, stopping him.
