Adhira
It's been three days since Arth has came back home and three days since our happiness has returned.
Tara on the other hand is really confusing me. She is nothing like what I had heard of her, she has because very different.
She hasn't spoken a single word by herself. She just answers when I ask something. She hasn't even stepped out of her room, me or the servants take her food to her and she just has it quietly.
It was worrying me, and now I have decided to talk to Ritvik about it.
As soon as he came out, fully dressed, I decided to ask him, "I'm worried about Tara." I said and he immediately turned.
"Why?"
"Well she hasn't spoken a word ever since she got here. I guess something is wrong with her." I said.
"Even I think so. Remember her house and everything?" He said.
"Yeah! That's what I was saying! You said she left for a rich guy, but that doesn't look like it." I replied.
"Hmm..."
"Shall I talk to her?" I asked.
"You can do anything you want as long as you and your mental health are not at risk." He replied.
.
.So I finally decided to talk to Tara. I don't want to do it in her room, because that's kinda sad.
Thinking of an idea, I quickly went to her room.
She was on her bed, staring at something. I looked to see that it was a portrait of Arth, which was keept by Ritvik in this guest room when mom's sister had come over."Hey!" I said, trying to gain her attention.
"Hello!" She replied.
"Come on, we'll have coffee in the garden." I said and she looked at me surprised.
"Cof--coffee? Outside?" She asked.
"Yeah!" I replied, shrugging my shoulders.
"No... Ritvik and his mom won't be happy if I go out." She reasoned.
"It'll be fine. I have already asked Ritvik for it and he said yes." I said and she then immediately agreed.
Once in the garden, we both sat on the chairs while I placed the tray with coffee essentials on the table.
I quickly then prepared two cups and handed one to her. After being quite for a long time I decided to finally ask, "Why were you living like that?"
"Like what?" She asked.
"You know, the day we met you..." I said, trying to jog her memory. "Because as far as I know you left because you got a more rich guy who was into you." I said, and she immediately looked at me.
I guess, I went to far. I was about to apologize, but stopped myself when she said.
"Karma!" She said.
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked, confused.
"I didn't value his love, so I didn't get love from the one I wanted." She said, but it didn't solve my confusion.
