It was hard for me to think that Sir and I are going to seperate by the end of a year even when he was just caring for me.

But today, he stood up for me. It's the first time anyone did something like that, and now I know that I cannot live without it. I liked the way he took a stand for me.

I'm not saying that I can't, but it feels very homely when someone is fighting for the whole world against you.

I'm not stressed because of that though, the reason for my stress is his sudden announcement.
Who the hell makes a personal assistant directly a CEO?"

I need to talk to him about it, along with the request to think once again about ending this marriage.

I was sitting on the bed, after dinner when Sir came in.
"You're still awake?" He asked.

"Why did you do that?" I asked and he looked at me with surprise.

"Did what?" He asked with confusion.

"Why did you announce that I'm also the CEO of your company?" I asked clearly.

"Because I'm actually promoting you to that position." He stated like it's no big deal.

"But how can you do that? Promoting a personal assistant to a CEO?" I asked, and I didn't like the way it sounded.

"I did what I felt right. You're my wife, Adhira, even if it's for a year, I can't let them play with your dignity. This was the best option I could think of." He said, taking his side of the bed.

"Do you still love Tara?" I suddenly asked, which startled him.

"I'm sorry, what?" He asked with confused face.

"Do you still love your ex-wife?"

"You mean wasl whether I love the person who killed the love in me? No. I don't." He said, "But why are you asking it?" He asked.

"Do you love someone else?" I asked, and now he was actually getting really worried.

"Has something happened Adhira?" He asked.

"Just answer the question..." I said.

"No, I don't like someone else." He answered.

"Do you have anyone who you'll get married to after we get a divorce?" I asked.

"No... But why are you asking it? Are you fine?" He asked, with worried expression.

"Can we stay married, like forever?" I asked as a whisper, but I'm sure he heard it.

"Are you serious?" He asked, and I nodded my head in agreement.

"Yes, oh yes!" He replied, sounding really happy.

"Are you fine with it?" I asked, a underlying nervousness in my voice.

"Of course yes! You don't know how much I wanted to ask you for it." He said, which surprised me.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I was so stressed about how I'll tell Arth and mom that were are getting divorced by the end of year and seeing you all bond so well, I knew it wouldn't be easier, but now you just gave a end to my worry." He said, giving me a smile.
