Adhira

Life has become very different from what it was.

It took me a while, but I finally wrapped my head around the fact that my parents no longer consider me as their child and I'm the first orphan with parents.

It became easy to do so when Ritvik Sir started calling me Adhira instead of Ms. Mehta.

It just made it easy. That I have no family officially, nor that I have a surname.

It's just difficult that I'm all alone.
I have no one.

Deciding not to think about it, I got ready for office.

I reached office and it's still the same.

I finally got to know, that everyone literally loved Ria and just because I replaced her and I'm her best friend, everyone thinks that I forced her to resign.

I sat down on the chair in my cabin and started working.
I noted down all the points of previous meetings and also prepared list of stuff for him.

As I saw him enter his cabin, I went in there.

"Good Morning sir. " I greeted as I entered the cabin.

"Good Morning Jr. Malhotra!" I wished as I saw him sitting on the table.

Seeing him makes me happy and I love it.
I actually feel that he is right now the only person who is there for me.
Even if he is just 5.

"Good Morning Adhu Auntie." He said with a smile.

"Good Morning. " Sir said.

"Cancel all the meetings for today, we have to go shopping." He said and I looked at him with shock.

"Shopping? Why?" I asked with confusion.

"It's my birthday after three days." Arth said.

It's even my birthday after three days.
I thought to myself.

"So? " I asked, still unsure of his sudden demand.

"Adhira,you are supposed to organize the party and he actually wants you to accompany him to shopping. " Sir told me looking at Arth who was busy playing with something.

"Ok, just give me half an hour. " I said and he nodded.

After a half an hour, I was done rescheduling everything and we all went towards his car to go to mall.

It felt weird as all the eyes were on me.
And it got more awkward because I was carrying Arth in my arms.

He actually likes this and I just can't say no to him.

As were going, I just couldn't help but wonder, where is his mother?

As we reached the car, I opened the front door, to make Arth sit on the passenger seat wheras I went to open the back door.

"What are you doing? " Arth asked.

"Uh... Sitting? " I said, quite confused.

"Sit here. " He said pointing at the front seat.
