"I believe that we can learn a lot from suffering setbacks. With our strength, it may not be difficult to annihilate a few cities and massacre their people. But experience from mistakes can help us develop a foundation that supports us when we face more difficult situations." Ainz explained.
"Now that the Sorcerer Kingdom controls so much land, I will be assigning a greater amount of tasks to all the floor guardians," Ainz warned them.
"You are even preparing a path for us, who lack the experience to create history," Demiurge smirked.
"That's exactly right, Demiurge!" Ainz exclaimed. 'No, I'm just saving my ass if I make a mistake one day!' He yelled in his mind.
"...You have an ass?" I asked him and he paused.
'Technically no? Does the flesh count as it alone or do the bones do?' Ainz was having a mental breakdown now over my simple question.
"Lord Ainz, I believe it's almost time for the next battle," Albedo spoke up getting him out of his mental breakdown.
"Who is responsible for the next region?" Shalltear asked.
"Lord Ainz," Albedo smirked.
"Then, we will definitely have to watch closely." Shalltear grinned, and I think Ainz actually started to sweat.
"I didn't prepare anything extravagant, though." Ainz looked down. He patted my head a lot making an excuse that he was busy loving me at the moment to explain what he had planned.
"I believe this battle lacks some military force..." Cocytus hummed as he read three books at once.
"You are right. Some humans escaped from the nearby towns that were destroyed, too." Aura added. "Lord Ainz was responsible for those towns, too...was there a reason for this?"
"Your questions are reasonable." Ainz hummed. 'PLEASE DON'T NITPICK ME!' His mind begged. 'I don't have that many eyes! Or an ass either! And I only just realised that!!'
"The next battle will be fun!" I exclaimed surprising the others.
"So it's a surprise," Demiurge smirked.
Sure.
"The next attack is on a seaside town." Shalltear hummed.
"Yeah, E-Naeul." Mare hummed. "It's a fishing town that doesn't have many soldiers, I heard rumour of drag-"
"Greater!" I yelled, and Ainz stuffed some sweets into my mouth and then waited nervously as I munched on them. "...Te-"
He gave me some more and I was satisfied this time he could tell by the way I hummed and swung my legs and he sighed in relief. The others grinned at the scene since the big search for me was the most urgent mission they had ever been given and the most intense as well.
They felt ashamed they couldn't find me themselves, but they also felt proud I was able to keep hidden so well.
I just visited some awesome dragon that lives up high, so it would be hard to find, but I think it's a very obvious place for me to be.
"It looks easy to defeat, even with a small amount of military force," Cocytus added as Ainz spun his chair away from them.
'What should I do?' Ainz whined in his mind. 'I brought myself some time for now.'
"Just don't explain," I added.
"But Demiurge might come up with something crazy." Ainz retorted. "And it's getting hard to remember it all."
Ainz spun on the chair some more since he was fidgety while I just giggled as we flew around. He kept doing that until it was time to watch the attack and we watched it through the mirror that lets you look at faraway places. There was an army of undead waiting to attack a big city.
