Chapter 3

There were some more knights heading our way, so Ainz had the survivors hide in a house while we confronted them.

The village chief came with us and the knights had the exact same armour as the ones who attacked the village.

There was one person without a helmet who looks like the leader. 'Won't, he's huge.' I read his mind. 'That girl on his shoulder looks like a parrot.'

"I am the chief royal warrior of the Re-Estize kingdom, Gazef Stronoff." He got off his horse and looked at the village chief then at us. "Who are these two standing beside you?"

The village chief was gonna introduce us but Ainz interrupted him. "Do not worry, it's nice to meet you, I'm Ainz Ooal Gown and this is my daughter Aria." I waved at him from Ainz's shoulder.

"We are magic casters, not parrots." I looked to Ainz to see if I said it right, and he gave me a slow nod. "And we came to help this town when it was being attacked to save them in exchange for sweets." I explained.

Ainz sighed when we got more strange looks.

"Mere words couldn't express my gratitude." Stronoff bowed to us.

"Head chief, unknown people have been spotted heading this way." One of his soldiers alerted him.

Stronoff explained to us the people who attacked were disguised as Re-Estize knights and the people that were spotted are from something called Slane Theocracy.

"These places and people have the weirdest names." I commented.

The reason they are attacking is so they can kill Stronoff.

He wanted to ask us something in private so we were allowed to use one of the houses. "Sir Gown, Miss Aris, can I hire you two? I will be sure to give you any reward you wish of."

"I decline." Ainz said immediately.

"I see, do take care." Stronoff shook hands with Ainz.

He then paused. "I beg of you to protect this village once more." Stronoff nearly went to his knees to beg, but Ainz stopped him.

"We will protect them." I reassured him. I won't get my sweets if they are dead.

Ainz gave him something before we left to fight them. We had the villagers hide away in one of their biggest buildings, and I used a spell I learned from Ainz to make a protective barrier around them all.

We teleported to where the enemy is and I saw what looks like angels floating around us with some guy with creepy eyes.

"You must have balls to say you will massacre the villagers we have bothered to save, I can't think of anything more offensive." Ainz informed him.

"I'm pretty sure he has balls even if he didn't do this." I retorted and they just ignored me.

'I'm not gonna say anything, explaining will just corrupt her or set Albedo off.' I heard Ainz think.

"So what do you want me to do?" Creepy eyes asked with a smirk.

"Changing those eyes or dropping dead would be nice." I responded with a smile, but he can't see it because of my mask.

"Offer your life to me with no resistance so there will be no pain for you, but if you refuse, you will die painfully." Ainz threatened.

"Angels attack!" He shouted. Ainz put his hand in front of me stopping one angel from stabbing me, but he got stabbed by one himself.

"Pathetic! You made some stupid bluffs!" Creepy eyes yelled thinking he won.

His smirk went down once he saw Ainz had a hold of both of the angels and they were struggling to get away. "You're gonna regret that." I sang.

Ainz smashed them into the ground, and they shattered and disappeared making me giggle in excitement. "My turn now! Time for a massacre!" Ainz announced.

"All angels attack at once!" Creepy eyes yelled desperately.

"Albedo, stand back." Ainz demanded and she moved straight away. "Negative burst!" He yelled and all of the angels were taken down.

All the other useless people with him sent all kinds of magic at us. Ainz had me put on another ring that protects me from magic just like him.

One person shot an arrow at me and Albedo made it go back taking the person's head off somehow. 'HOW DARE THESE INSECTS!!' Her mind screeched.

"Albedo, those won't do me any harm." Ainz reminded her.

"Yes, but they were aiming for Lady Aria and these insects can only throw a pebble at you, so you shouldn't worry yourself with these worthless insects, my Lord." She explained.

'I FORGET ABOUT THAT!' Ainz's mind yelled and he took me off his shoulder to make sure I don't have any wounds, and I just smiled at him as he sighed in relief.

Ainz put me back on his shoulder after. "Thanks." I grinned at Albedo as the enemy summoned another angel and had it attack Ainz.

Ainz made a small flame that quickly covered the entire angel and killed it instantly.

Creepy eyes then took out a huge crystal. "Albedo, protect us." Ainz ordered, and she stood right in front of us.

"Dominion Authority!" Creepy eyes screeched and a giant angel was summoned this time.

"You should use demons they are much stronger." I informed him.

'He should.' Ainz thought.

"This is stupid" Ainz sighed.

"That's impossible! Use holy smite!" Creepy eyes laughed like a maniac. "This is seventh their magic!"

"Grasp heart is 9th tier, right? And your trump spell is 7th tier? Wow, you're pathetic!" I laughed at him and the angel did its attack and it only hurt Ainz a little bit.

Ainz had used some protection spell on me to make I didn't get hurt at all since I am a demon.

'HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO THE ONE WHO I WILL BEAR THE CHILDREN OF! AND OUR PRECIOUS DAUGHTER!!' Albedo screeched in her mind.

"You caused him pain! You piece of trash need to know your place!" She shrieked.

"Albedo, calm down." Ainz grabbed her shoulder to stop her and I thought if she even moved his hand would just break into millions of pieces. "Now it's my turn! Feel despair! Blackhole!" Ainz made a black hole and the angel instantly vanished.

"Your power surpasses demons, what in the hell are you?!" Creepy eyes yelled.

"Ainz Ooal Gown, soon everyone will fear my name." Ainz then broke some spell that someone else was using to watch creepy eyes.

"I'm bored." I yawned.

"We will be going." Ainz turned to leave.

"Sir Ainz! No, Lord Ainz! Please spare my life, I will reward you with anything you wish!" Creepy eyes got on his knees and were yelling desperately.

"Lower life forms should be grateful when their lives are taken." Albedo corrected him.

"Dragon lighting." I tried out one of the spells I learned and it killed three of his people. "I meant to get one, oopsie." I laughed.

"A child did that?" Creepy eyes said in horror and Ainz decided to leave.

Albedo killed them, and she caught up with us. 'Lord Ainz, he was so powerful and dominate. I WANT HIM TO BE LIKE THAT IN BED WITH ME!!' She screamed in her mind.

"Bed? Dominate? You want him to dominate a bed?" I asked not getting it.

"Close." She smiled at me.

"Albedo, don't teach her stuff like that." Ainz scolded her, but his mind was screaming something. 'PLEASE STOP!! I NEED TO PROTECT THIS CHILD FROM EVERYONE!! THIS IS THE HARDEST THING I WILL NEED TO DO!!'

"Then I will leave it to you to teach her." She told him.

'I CAN'T!!' He screeched in his mind.
