Chapter 5

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING EXPIRED WH-" Albedo was shouting and Ainz covered my ears.

"Both of you! Stop this childish fight!" Ainz demanded and uncovered my ears.

"Yes, Lord Ainz!" They both stopped immediately.

"Now state your business, Shalltear." Ainz sighed.

"I am about to join Sebas who has already departed on your orders. I believe I won't be able to return to Nazarick for a short while, so I came to give you both my regards before I leave." She came over and gave me a hug and smirked at Albedo.

Then Albedo gave me a longer hugger, and they had a competition, each hug got longer. 'A lot of men would die to be in her place.' Ainz thought. "Stop it, you two will suffocate her." Ainz took me back.

"Sorry, Lord Ainz." They both apologised and I hugged him thinking that's what he wanted, he looked up at the ceiling and patted my head slowly. 'Too cute!'

Later on, Albedo got me changed into a red dress and a black cloak instead of my normal cloak red one and she gave me a white mask. The mask doesn't have a bottom part so it doesn't cover my mouth. "Why do I need this?" I asked her.

"We are going out so you need to be disguised." Ainz explained as I saw he is in full black armour.

"Isn't that heavy? How do you move in that? Wait, don't you need muscles?" I asked and even Albedo wanted to know.

"I know." Albedo smirked and Ainz looked very nervous.

"It's because he's Lord Ainz! He can do the impossible! He has the most amazing body in the world!" She screeched and started laughing madly making the room shake.

Ainz sighed in relief and I met Nabe who will be coming with us. She's really nice, but quiet and thinks of murder a lot, but that's normal for the people here.

We went out and joined some guild then we entered some Inn that is also a pub. I'm sitting on Ainz's shoulder as I was looking around at all of the people.

People stared at us from their tables as we went over to the counter. "A room, right? It's 5 bronze pieces a night for two rooms." The guy at the counter informed us.

"I would like a room for three, we don't need any meals." Ainz told him.

"But sweets." I pouted.

"Do you have some sweets?" Ainz asked.

"You're a copper plate, right? Then this place-" The guy didn't talk about my sweets annoying me.

"We just registered at the guild a moment ago." Ainz cut him off.

"7 bronze pieces a night!" He yelled.

"Gras-" I was about to kill him, but Ainz put down the bronze.

"The room is on the second floor in the back and here are some sweets for your daughter." The guy threw the bag to me.

I immediately started eating and Ainz was walking to the stairs, but some guy put out his leg to trip him. 'Goodness.' Ainz thought as he kicked the guy's foot.

"Hey, now that hurt!" Baldy stood up. "What are you going to do about this?"

"Looks like my injuries need to be treated kindly by that woman there." Baldy pointed at Nabe.

I made a sound of disgust. "Creepy old man." I sneered at him.

"Old!?" He yelled like I was wrong.

"Well, you have no hair and look at all those wrinkles." I pointed at his face.

"I have no wrinkles, kid." He glared at me.

"Oh, it's just your face? You might want to get that fixed." I suggested as I ate more of my sweets.

I heard people laughing even Ainz was laughing a little. 'Good to know she won't ever get bullied.' He thought.

Baldy noticed Ainz laughing and got annoyed. "Sorry, you sound like the stereotypical punk." Ainz apologised and lifted him up by his shirt. "It looks like you're to weak to play around with, even for my daughter." He threw the guy into a table.

"Now, what are we going to do next?" Ainz asked everyone else. "Its stupid for all of us to waste time."

There was a screech. "A banshee?" I asked.

'Sounds like one.' I heard Ainz think.

The girl who screamed came over. "Hey! Hey! What the hell are you doing?!"

"Throwing people?" I said confused.

"My potion shattered because of you! You better pay for it!" She pointed at it, it's on the floor in pieces it was her table that baldy hit into.

"Potion?" Ainz asked.

"I just brought it today! With all the money I saved from skipping meals and quitting alcohol!" She yelled.

"Want a sweet?" I asked and held it out to her, she was annoyed but took it. "Thanks." She mumbled and I smiled.

"Now for your potion, you should have these guys compensate for it." Ainz pointed at the ones who are with baldy.

"It was 1 gold and ten silver, but you guys are always drunk so there's no way you have that much, but you're wearing some pretty nice armour there." She looked back to Ainz. "So don't you have a healing potion or two?"

"I have some but.." Ainz mumbled and noticed Nabe was about to kill the girl. "Wait! Here." He handed one over. "Now are there anymore problems?"

"No." She answered as she stared at the potion confused and we were finally able to go upstairs.

Once we got into our room I immediately started to jump on my bed. "Supreme beings like yourselves should not stay in a place like this." Nabe spoke up as she glared at a wall like it was unworthy to be near us.

"Don't say that Nabe." Ainz scolded her and removed his helmet. "So those are adventurers."

"They are quite weak and stupid." I sat down on the bed.

"How do you know?" Ainz asked me.

"I did kill countless of them when my magic was still out of control, they would just jump at me and die after saying some cheesy words. They kind of deserved it in the end, they are just to stupid to believe my warnings." I explained.

"They are controlled by the guild organization and the majority of their requests deal with killing monsters, the job is a lot more dreamless than I expected." Ainz added.

"I don't want to kill monsters." I admitted, and he looked at me surprised. 'Did killing all those people get to her? I shouldn't have brought her along?! I don't want her to feel like she has to do this!' Ainz got really worried about me.

That made me smile. "I mean you guys and me are what they classify as a monster, right? But you guys are kind and while I was still human they didn't do anything to help me, but you guys saved me, they are the real monsters like baldy, he was terrifyingly ugly."

"She is right." Nabe agreed and Ainz ruffled my hair. 'Good, I have nothing to worry about.' Ainz was much more relaxed, he gets worried to easily. He even got worried over a pillow Albedo was holding once for some reason.

"What should we do about the vile women?" Nabe asked us about the Banshee lady.

"She has an iron plate which is a higher rank than us, as her juniors we should let her maintain her public image, by the way, what do you think of humans?" Ainz asked her,

"They are trash." She immediately answered.

'Her too!?' I heard him freak out.

"The only one I like is Lady Aria. She used to be human, but now she's even cuter because she is a demon." She smiled at me and I gave her a sweet.
