Chapter 9

Ainz talked about how he was with a group before and the adventures they went on together, he made memories with them he will never forget, he seemed lonely.

"I'm sure you will get allies like that again" Ninya reassured him.

"That will never happen" Ainz replied with a deep tone making everyone freeze.

"I will go over there to eat" He got up and walked away.

"I will go with you" Nabe got up and followed.

A couple of seconds later I was lifted up "I'm not leaving you here" Ainz carried me in his arm 'Lukrut will say something about his so-called amazing equipment again' I heard him think.

He sat down on a rock and put me down next to him and gave me his bowl, I just stared at it then him "Are you going to eat it?" He asked me.

"Do you want me to use my hands? I need a spoon" I reminded him.

"Oh...I forget" He mumbled embarrassed.

I went back to go get my spoon "Is Momon really that popular with the ladies?" I heard Balear ask the others.

"Popular?" I asked confused.

"Like do women throw themselves at him?" Lukrut asked me.

"Oh, yeah, there are a couple and they make weird sounds while doing it and don't let go of him" I explained.

"So lucky!" Lukrut yelled.

Balear was staring at me "If you don't mind me asking, why do you wear a mask and a cloak?" He asked me.

"Dad tells me to" I shrugged and got my spoon and went back.

I ate the food and Ainz was still staring at the night sky, I just leaned against him tired and I felt something being wrapped around me.

I saw Nabe was adjusting my cloak so I was fully covered by it and when her eyes met mine she smiled and I smiled back, I then closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke up on Ainz's shoulder and I saw it was already morning and they are all walking "Your awake" Peter smiled at me.

"Did anything happen?" I asked.

"No, but we saw a funny scene of your dad panicking when he put you on his shoulder because he was worried that you might fall off" Lukrut laughed.

"Oh yeah, Ruby you talked about dragons before, there is a legend of one around this area that can freely control nature," Ninya informed me.

"Do you know the name of it?" Ainz asked.

"I don't know the name, but I will check when we get back to town" Ninya replied.

"Please do" Ainz nodded.

"Its only a little further to Carne village!" Balear informed us.

We kept going and saw a huge wood fence, the gate was open and just as we got close to it goblins appeared from all sides "Who the hell are you guys!?" They yelled.

"We don't want to fight if we don't have to so put down your weapons," One told us "Especially that full plated guy and the little girl, you both give off a real dangerous feeling."

"I don't have any weapons, do sweets count?" I asked.

'Do I put down Aria? She is kind of a weapon' Ainz thought to himself.

"Mr goblin, what is going on?" A human girl asked.

"Enri!" Balear yelled.

"Oh, Nphirea!" She smiled at him.
