Ness and I started to walk along the sandy pathway to the venue of our gala which was near the beach coast. We decided to meet the guys there since their rooms are at the far left side of the resort. It'll be a hassle for them to walk a long way to ours. I'd like to say, our professors did a good job separating the guys from the girls.

"Nervous?" Ness asked me as I nodded. "Don't worry, you look hot. You've been turning the heads of the girls as well you know."She joked making me chuckle nervously.

Sheesh. I was such a nerd to get nervous about this small thing. We're only attending this gala and I didn't feel any good about it. First, because Ness made a total make over of me then second I just might really pull a lot of attention along the night. Literally, everyone was glancing and talking as they saw me. It was like I was the new girl. the new girl who dated the uni hottie and friends with the group of hotties. Some stares from the girls were about to kill me while some were admiring me like I was really pleasant for their eyes. On the other hand some guys were gawking at me noticing me the first time while some looked like I was a piece of meat. Sheesh, can they just be normal?

The feeling was new for me as I never had moments like this. I never liked being the center of attention. Ms. Victoria smiled at Ness and I as she walked by. "Looking good, ladies." She smiled.

"Thank you Ms. V!" both Ness and I chirped.

"Oh, is that you Luthien?" she asked bemused walking back to us.

"Er...yeah, Ms. V. It's just me" I nodded.

She smiled perfectly exposing her white teeth and nodded. "Hot transformation Ms. Tinuviel and always the pretty one Ms. Anarion." She winked at us and walked to the registration booth. I blushed from her comment and bowed my head slightly. Did I really look that bad before?

"Told ya so!" Ness said as she elbowed my ribs softly. "Hey! Chin's up girl!" she said as she tilted my head lightly with her index finger.

"You ladies are steaming hot tonight!" we both glanced at the voice from behind us.

"Thank you Adam!" Ness said as Blake took her hand. Blake smiled with nod at me appreciatively and raked his eyes all over Ness as he kissed her lips softly. I couldn't imagine anyone who wouldn't say that Ness looked beautiful tonight. She was wearing her white pair of swim suit under the aquamarine halter dress that lasted her mid-thigh. She curled her hair at the ends that just made her a lot prettier than the usual.

"You look...yummy babe." She purred making Blake chuckle.

"So do you." he said and kissed her cheek.

I was pulled away from watching Ness and Blake as an arm slithered around my waist pulling me to his chest. It was not the familiar smoky sweet scent but a spicy woody scent so I looked up and came face to face with the cocky Adam. "Adam!" I slapped his chest playfully as he chuckled exposing his deep dimples on each cheek. His jet black hair slightly swinging along his brows and his eyes grayish eyes smiled mischievously.

"Oops! I thought you're my date for tonight!" he joked making me grin. The guys and I grew closer each time we spent time together. Adam had been so friendly and flirty but for Ness and I, he was like our long lost brother.

"I guess you'll just have to watch me from a distance. Too bad, you'll look great by my side." I rode with his joke as he kept his grip on my waist.

"Seriously, you look different baby angel. If my bro's not dating you I'd take you now." Adam smirked down at me.

"Baby angel?" I asked curiously. Since when did he make a nickname for me?

"Hmmm... Baby cause you're so petite, and angel cause you're so kind to us. Not to mention you're good for Jayden." He said truthfully making me blush and squeaked a little as someone smacked his head enough for him to let me go. "Ow! Dude!" he whined as I giggled.
