Chapter 1

Its sunny and bright today although its the rainy season. I nervously looked at the white, peaceful and fluffy clouds above me while walking towards the terminal. I brushed my long, straight dark brown-black hair with my left hand. Its seven in the morning and I'm hoping for a great day.

"Seven?! Shocks! I'm gonna be late!" I whispered to myself and rushed towards the terminal only finding none of the cab and a very long line of people. After standing and waiting for forty-five minutes I desperately ride a cab towards the university.

Yes. You read correct. University. Meaning, its my first day in college and I'm terribly late. After jumping out of the ride, I ran as fast as I can to my first class. Environmental Science. My Mom and sister loved science, so I guess I have to be good at science as well. Nervously, I knocked on the door and entered quietly only to be stared at by the whole class which is totally embarrassing!

"Good morning, Miss. I believe you belong in this class?" the professor asked, holding index cards on his hands, more-like assembling it or something.

I gulped lightly and pushed some of my haggard hair at the back of my ears. "Uhm, yes Sir, Good Morning, I believe this is EnviSci..so-"

"I think you can take your seat at the back, Miss. I won't be giving any detentions till next week since you're all new here and it's the beginning of classes." Smiling at me he continued, "Anyway, can I have your index card?", showing me the ones he's holding, "please write your full name, address.." He continued as I sat at the back of the room looking in my things if I brought any. Crap, I expected that these things will be needed and yet I totally forgot bringing any. Great.

"Here, I have an extra piece, you can have it." My seatmate held a piece at me with a smirk on his face.

"Thanks.." I murmured shyly.

"You can also borrow this one as a guide." He said handing another piece at me.

"Er, thanks...again." I murmured softly while avoiding his gaze and started writing on my desk. I'm so nervous and shy at the same time my heart is thumping wild at my chest. I wonder if every guy here in college is just like him. Kind, I guess. I know I'm too shy to speak to them for I know they will get bored easily simply from the way how I look - long brown-black hair, fair skin, petite height, and a pair of round eyes behind glasses. A thick pair of glasses. To simply put things out, I'm under the nerdy class.

"Can you speak other words than 'thanks'? Because you know, you owe me twice already and I think to repay me, you should buy me some lunch." The guy seated next to me said with a smirk on his face.

I was never good in conversing with guys especially with this low self-confidence that I have. Upon looking at his face he have this small eyes, long as in long lashes more like of a girl's, slightly thick brows, fair nose, lightly pinkish chicks and pink kissable lips. Really? Kissable?? How can I think of that when I don't even know how to kiss one! My thoughts broke when a finger snapped twice in front of my face.
