Emmett: Thank me later if you get lost.

I stare at his message for a solid half hour, still curious on how he knew about me wanting to visit the new Café shop. I mean sure, I was obviously eavesdropping on their conversation earlier, but that can't just the reason how he knew. Or maybe he's really that observant to immediately understood what I was planning to do afterward.

Though, his new message to me made me rethink everything. In retrospect, I should not just immediately trust him sending me the actual location to the Café. I would have been lost if ever Emmett decided to mess with me and sent the wrong location. Although that would be funny considering that I've also sent the location to the group chat. The image of all of us getting lost together is quite comedic.

Luckily, Emmett didn't felt like messing with me today since he actually sent the location of the new Café. That would be a disaster and a comedic experience waiting to happen. Though, I'm confused on why I easily trusted him after he surprises me with his message.

I put my head down low, nearly touching the table in front of me. There's no use to ponder about something that had anything to do with Emmett Larkin. It will only make my head hurt if I keep thinking about it. For now, I'll just have to keep my mind busy by watching people mind their own business in the Café.

What Hanz and Alecks failed to mention earlier-yes, I was really eavesdropping-that this Café was a cat café. There are a bunch of cats loitering around the store. It's obvious that these cats were strays before, but the staff in the Café decided to adopt them here. What's more amazing was there's a little cat door dedicated to those cats who want to go out of the Café whenever they want. They're not forced to stay, they're free to wander wherever they want. It's their nature, after all.

The first instance I realize that this Café was actually a Cat Café was the sign and name of the store. Tell me if the name "Whiskers and Coffee" didn't immediately spark my interest to check what's inside. The second instance was when I was about to enter the door. I simply thought there are only a few cats inside before opening the door. But I was immediately stopped in my tracks when an adorable little furball jumped out of the little door at the side of the main one. The tabby cat stared at me, and it doesn't look like it's hissing or aggressive. It looks calm before sauntering away from me.

I was distraught I didn't get to pet it since it immediately went away. However, the moment I push the door open, I suddenly stood by the door in awe.

This feels like a human and cat paradise merged together. I can't even exaggerate how adorable all the cats that were wandering around the store while people sip their coffee and occasionally pet one of the cats. The cats didn't even mind all the petting, each and single one of them were very friendly. Okay, maybe there's one cat that scratch a person, but that's not the point. The real focus here was the cat and the ability to order coffee.

That's how my day was before and after entering the store. Now I'm just sitting here, having staring contest with a black cat as I wait and see the surprise expression my friends when they enter the Café. Of course, I didn't tell them that the Café was a cat sanctuary. I want to see their faces when they entered the store and realization struck them in the face.

The black cat in front of new meows softly as we kept having a staring contest with each other. I didn't miss the fact that their pupils dilated as if they're feeling relax towards me. A smile forms on my face as I try to blink my eyes slowly at it. By the time I open my eyes, the black cat immediately makes its way towards me and gave me a soft headbutt. A giggle escapes my lips when the cat kept rubbing itself on my face.

I can tell each cat were cared, since this one smelled wonderful. It's like the staff had finished bathing these cute little furballs.

The cat kept rubbing itself on me and I begin to give it gentle scratches on the head. It purred at me, makes me want to kidnap this little guy and bring it home with me. Okay, the word little doesn't fit at all, since this cat is a size of a handbag. I was shocked when I realize how big the cat was when it approaches me.
