If I had a dollar for every weird and unexpected thing that had happened, I would have ten dollars by now. Five from each weird and unexpected thing that had happened. It's best to manifest something more rather than a dollar. Or better yet—

If I had a house and lot for every weird and unexpected thing that had happened, I would have had a two house and lot—with tons of puppies and kittens. Okay, that's too much, but I think my point had been delivered.

So yeah, two things I didn't expect to happen today. One was witnessing Emmett's mood swings for the first time in my entire college life. Seriously, I only thought that Emmett only had one mood and that is arrogance. But nope, after what had happened today, I've witnessed something new and frankly terrifying. Who knew Emmett looked scary whenever his nostrils flared a bit? Like he really looked like he was about to murder his best friend and make it look like an accident.

Or that's just me and my extremist imagination. Maybe it's only me. Still, he was ready to throw some hands. Both physically and, well, even more physically.

On to the second weird and unexpected thing—that definitely wasn't in my bingo card about “this semester shenanigans”, Alecks is all weird. I've been crushing on him since feels like forever, and today just made me realize that I'm happy that it was just a crush. Because lately, he's too—how do I describe this? He's too… Rowdy.

I seriously thought he's just a quiet and peaceful person around. But nope, after witnessing both Emmett and Alecks almost releasing all their pent-up tension to one another. As much as I want to make that sound like in a cute way, I can't hold the chuckle of having an image of Emmett and Alecks being shipped together.

But anyway, going back. After I've had my “talked” with Emmett—weird guy and whatever his issue is—I went back to the rehearsal room to get my things. The people were chatting until I stepped in, and Alecks immediately went to my side, pulling me away from the others and lowering his voice to a whisper. Everything happened too fast that I couldn't comprehend what had been transpired between us. Eventually, I figured it out without asking for him to repeat some things to me.

Apparently, he wanted to know if Emmett had said anything to me while we're “talking.” I said that we didn't exchange much and just said goodbye. Because that's really what had happened, nothing much had been communicated and whatever bugging him will still be a mystery. Well, not much of a mystery.

The reason why Alecks pulled me to a secluded spot—just behind his drum set and made me kneel down just so others wouldn't see us behind the drums, he's acting weird, I don't know why. So, to make a long story short, it's not basically a long story, that's why it's short—okay at this point I'm just stalling. But basically, Alecks and I made a harmless bet with one another.

The prize? Well, it's the prize of feeling pride that one of us can crack Emmett's hard skull. But here's the bet, whoever of us gets to make Emmett open-up his issues gets to win. At first, I wasn't feeling it since I would rather not push myself even further in Emmett's life. I'll do everything to keep myself away from that guy. But Alecks made a great argument saying that, and I quote; “Between you and me, I think it's definitely your fault that Emmett wasn't in the mood for anything.” That's his argument, he made me feel guilty. Now that he'd mentioned that I might be the problem, since he explained that Emmett never acted that way ever, especially during rehearsal, it was partially my fault. So, if I ever get to know whatever that is bothering Emmett, I get to have some kind of peace, even after leaving the band.

Oh yeah, he also had said that if I had left the band and I didn't resolve the issue between Emmett and me—still not sure if I'm really the problem—Alecks wouldn't forgive and will give me the stink eye every time we see each other in the hallway. He's the one who said that, not me.
