"I think we should take a break?" I announce to the group, glancing at them to see their reaction. But I mostly kept my eyes on Alecks who kept on grinning at me as if he had thought of something amazing to say. Curiosity got the best of me and made me want to know what has to say this time.

"Yeah, say like-" Ash pauses to check on his watch, "-fifteen minutes?" He glances around the room, meeting everyone's glances.

A series of murmurs and whispers until most of the group nodded their heads in agreement. I glance towards Alecks who's having a conflicting expression plastered all over his face. Maybe whatever he wanted to say requires more time than a short fifteen minutes.

I take a deep breath before opening my mouth to speak to the group, "You can do and go wherever and whatever you guys want. Just make sure to be back here by," I pull out my phone to check the current time. When I read that it's already pass 11 o'clock, I made sure we all have enough time to get a quick lunch. "12 o'clock sounds good?" I ask the group and watch them collectively nods their heads.

Samuel, one of my bandmates, approaches me with a grin lifting his cheeks. By the time he's a meter away, he reaches a hand over to me and place it down on my shoulder. "Emmett," He mutters and no words came out next.

He does this all the time. Samuel will call my name and proceed to give me a silent treatment until I got bored with waiting for him to continue. He's lucky that he's the youngest member in our band and most of us treat him like a little brother.

I suppress the urge to groan, not risking on waiting for a whole minute to wait for him to speak. "Yes, Sam?"

He blinks at me for several times as if I had interrupted his thought process. Okay, maybe I shouldn't rush him to speak. Samuel Harpe is known to have a difficult time to finish whatever he's thinking about. If ever he did fish out his thoughts perfectly, it took a lot out of him to do that. Most of the time when he doesn't want to stress himself out to focus on one thought, he'll choose to keep this childish personality to avoid any other thoughts that might enter his head. But he doesn't do it to annoy any of his, it's just how he operates. That's why we all treat him like a little brother, he has that little brother energy.

After another few seconds, Samuel finally caught up with whatever he was about to say. With a shake of his head, the grin from earlier came back on his head. "I heard that you and Phoebe had another verbal back-and-forth earlier," He pats my shoulders like he's proud of me or something.

"I'm guessing Alecks is the one that told you that," I quickly glance at Alecks who's morning his business tending to his drum set. My eyes went back to look at a grinning Samuel, "Is that all you wanted to say?" Despite me knowing about him struggling to focus, I couldn't help but at least tease him a little. Call it a big brother instinct to keep on messing with his little brother.

I watch as he stares at the ceiling to make sure he does, in fact, want to say something else to me. Biting back the urge to smirk while I watch him narrowing his eyes to think very hard.

"I hate you for making me do this," He mutters and I straight out release a heartfelt chuckle. I watch as he rolls his eyes in annoyance before finally looking like he remembers what he wanted to say to me. "I'm going to check out the new Café down the block Alecks kept talking about. Do you want something?"

Okay, what's with this new café that people want to check out? First was Hanz and Alecks, second was Phoebe... And now our little Samuel wants to check it out to. By the way, Samuel and Café doesn't go well in a sentence. For starters, Samuel isn't allowed to drink anything that has caffeine-we all agreed on not letting him drink caffeine since it's back for him.
