The court erupted with cheers and wild boos as we finally arrived, taking in our place. This is the moment to showcase what we had prepared for days ago.

"Good luck!"

Under the blazing sun, the school grounds pulsed with anticipation. The volleyball court crackled with energy as students thronged the sidelines, filling the air with a symphony of cheers and chants. Beside me, Kim and I stood, our uniforms already soaked with sweat from the earlier matches. The moment had arrived for the ultimate face-off: Grade 11 pitted against Grade 12.

Kim gave me a nudge with his elbow, a knowing look in his eyes. "Are you ready to show them what we're made of, Gab?"

I nodded, my heart pounding with anticipation. “Let’s do this.”

The piercing sound of the whistle marked the start of the game. The ball arced gracefully over the net, met with resolute volleys and powerful spikes. Our team moved in perfect synchrony, each player showcasing the results of our dedicated practice and seamless teamwork. Amid the joyful noise and bustling commotion, I caught sight of Eris standing at the edge, enthusiastically applauding me. A surge of warmth swept through my cheeks, sparking a fresh determination within me.

"GO BUNNIES!!"

"GO MGA KUNEHO!"

"SIGE KIM, IPAKITA MO KUNG SINO KA!"

The cheers of the audience grew even louder and wild as the ball started flying back and forth.

The thrilling symphony of support crescendoed as we threw our hearts into every serve, dig, set, and spike. With each move, it felt like a perfectly choreographed dance. The euphoric cheers of the crowd filled the air, pushing us to give our all. As the final whistle blew, the scoreboard ignited with our triumph: Grade 11 emerged victorious.

We won.

Panalo ang mga kuneho.

"YES!!"

"YAHOOOOO!"

"WE WON!"

The atmosphere exploded with jubilation as the team lifted me onto their shoulders, serenading me with my name.

A whirlwind of exhilaration and elation swept over me as I gazed around from my elevated position. Amid the celebratory chaos, I spotted Eris striding towards me, his expression alight with unmistakable pride.
