Johanna laughs as she watches her children run after each other with her knights Ser Arthur and Ser Sebastian to the left of them with Aegon, Maegor and Aemond as they trained. Rhaenyra and Helaena were chased by Rhaena and her children with Robert; Cassian, Myrcella and Tommen.

She looks around as her younger sister Cersei Lannister now Lady Frey though she never was at the Twins, she always preferred Kingslanding and never left. She had one son, Joffery Frey who was the very image of a Lannister.

"My Queen," Cersei greets formally before saying with a softer look on her face "Sister."

Johanna smiles back at her before looking back at her children who are running around still very the innocent children that their age reflected.

Well, her Baratheon children were anyway, less so her Targaryen children who were very rarely allowed share the company of their mother unless a Baratheon Septa or Robert himself was there to make sure Johanna spoke nothing of Daemon or the former Royal House.

She was allowed watch them from afar any time she pleased and they could see her anytime they pleased they were just never allowed be lone in the same room as each other ever.

"They are beautiful are they not?" Johanna asks as she looks back at her children with a soft loving smile on her face as Cersei joins her side a hand on her stomach. "And so innocent, you would not think they had lived through what they had lived through"

Cersei hums before turning to her sister who looks back at her, and Cersei is struck by how tired her sister looks. Her white hair is limp, her violet eyes are tired and she has lines from both laughter and crying. But what sticks out the most is how thin she is. It was well known the Queen ate in frequently but Cersei had not been aware that it was this bad.

"Yes," Cersei replies after a pause watching a soft smile grace Johanna's face as she turns back to look down at the gardens. "Are you alright sister?"

Johanna turns to look at Cersei again with a soft frown "What is your meaning?"

"You seem... tired."

"My children are alive, and I can see them often so I am fine. More than in fact" Johanna says, but to Cersei the answer sounds rehearsed.

"My Lord Husband the King has, in his desire for peace, has seen fit to name my eldest son Aegon Targaryen, the new Lord of Dragonstone." Cersei watches Johanna as she says this and can see the physical pain the words bring to her older sister as she continues "My other children Rhaenyra, Maegor and Helaena are to join him there while Aemond and Rhaena shall stay here by my side until they are old enough to join him..."

"Johanna...." Cersei trails off as tears fill Johanna's eyes.

"This would have happened if their father was still here, he was to be the Lord of Dragonstone so my son is getting his rightful inheritance I just thought I would be there with him" Johanna shakes her head slightly as she wipes away her tears, "It was Lord Jon Arryn's idea of course, the King does not seem to care what happens to my children as long as they are not in his line of vision."

"Surely father-"

"Father has no interest in my children," Johanna states coldly which surprises Cersei as she sees rage swirl in Johanna's eyes.

"He has had no interest since I married the Lord King." Johanna scoffs "He only cares if the name Lannister is involved. Since Jaime cannot have any heirs and Tyrion... well we all know what Father thinks of him, I was sure the great Lord Tywin Lannister would name Maegor his heir... I was sure Father would save us"

Cersei bows her head as Johanna chuckles without any humour "That is what I get for trusting a man to come to save me. No, I must save myself and with that I must get my own revenage against those who seek to harm me, or have already harmed me."

"What are you going to do?" Johanna turns to glance at Cersei who watches her sister nervously.

"'We do not cower in fear' that is what the people say my motto is," Johanna turns to walk away from Cersei who continues to watch her with wide eyes "I shall not cower in fear against what must be done."

Cersei watches as her sister walks away from the balcony realising for the first time that Johanna was a dragon as well as a Lion.

She was a dragon with a dragon's anger but with a Lioness urge to protect her own.
