"Boats! Boats!" the cry carried throughout Kingslanding as soldiers ran around trying to find their armour as the boats carrying the banner of House Targaryen grew closer to the walls of the capital.

Robert had quickly been summoned and he stood with Otto Hightower, Ned Stark, Cassian Baratheon and the rest of his small council on the walls as they watched the ship grow closer.

"That is Corlys Velaryon," Ned says to his friend who turns to him with wide eyes before they looked back at the ship "Those are his boats, I recognise them from when he travelled North."

"Why would be flying the banner of the House that brought his to ruin?" Robert questions as Otto and Cassian share a glance that does not go unnoticed by the Hand of the King.

"Does the Prince have anything to ad?" the Northern Lord asks which makes Robert look at his son who looks back at the Warden of the North with surprise before he shakes his head.

"No," Cassian says "I do not, but how can we be sure that the Sea Snake is not loyal to the so called King? Both their houses are from Old Valyria and that creates a bond that we would be hard pressed to understand."

"The Prince speaks the truth," Lord Varys says drawing the attention away from the supposed Heir to the Iron Throne "My spiders have heard whispers that ravens have been flying from Dragstone looking for allies."

"They have balls," Robert muses "I will give them that."

Varys bows his head as Robert looks back down at the ship that had dropped anchor as a white hair man can be seen walking from below deck to the bird nest.

"What is he doing?" Robert questions with a glance at Ned who shakes his head as they watch the Sea Lord. "What is your purpose flying those banners so close to the Capital?!"

"We are here on the orders of King Daemon Targaryen!" Corlys calls back his voice surprisingly strong and clear from the distance he is away from the city walls.

"What does the false King want?" Otto Hightower calls down to the Sea Lord who smirks up at him and the Hightower nods back so slightly it is almost invisable.

"The King in his wisdom calls for peace talks!" Lord Corlys calls "He is in a forgiving mood as his wife the Queen Johanna Targaryen of House Lannister has birthed a daughter! This very morn! Whom they have named Princess Ellyn Baratheon of House Targaryen!"

Robert blinks at the news as a strange feeling comes over his chest as he blinks hard as Ned glances at his friend and Cassian glances at his father.

"The King wishes to talk about the Baratheon surrender that could save millions of lives!"

"I will not surrender the crown that rightfully belongs to me!" Robert roars before Ned or Otto can stop him as the King of Kingslanding slams his hands down onto the stone walls.

"Then you and your house shall burn!" Corlys Velaryon calls back unfazed "You shall burn for the insult you committed against the King by stealing his wife and fathering bastards on her!"

Robert looks at Cassian who bows his head in shame as the Sea Lord continued to yell.

"House Baratheon was raised by House Targaryen in Aegon's conquest and in the cause of King Daemon Targaryen the First of his name, Lord of Dragonstone, King of All Westeros, Shield of His People King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm."

It did not escape anyone's notice that Daemon Targaryen had taken the titles of Aegon the Conqueror rather than the titles that Robert Baratheon had taken.

"You are serving a usurper!" Ned yells back although he feels nervous knowing the mind Johanna Lannister had. She was truly the daughter of her Father, and perhaps she might be smarter. She knew that she could easily win for she had the love of many Houses and had their loyalty through daughters or marriage pacts.

"Long Live Daemon Targaryen First of his name Lord of Dragonstone, King of All Westeros, Shield of His People, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm!" Corlys Velaryon calls back with his 100 something men echoing his words from the two other ships that had come from the fog that was coming towards the Capital.

"Long may he reign!" the soldiers and seamen started to chant as they vanished into the fog.
