Lady Tyrin does not look around as the familiar sound that Johanna Lannister's footsteps creates as she walks across the grass towards her friend who is standing before the lake as she looks over it with dead eyes.
"Tyrin?" Johanna asks nervously as she approaches her friend and then bows her head when Lady Tyrin turns to look at her with her empty eyes.
"Your Grace." Lady Tyrin says evenly as she looks back at the water aware of Johanna's shocked look when she hears the title Lady Tyrin called her by. Never once had the Lady Arryn called her by her proper title even when they were fighting.
"How can I be of service?" Lady Tyrin continues as she folds her hands in front of her stomach as she glances back at Ser Arthur who was now her guard by the order of Daemon Targaryen. "Where is Ser Sebastian?"
Johanna bows her head as she hears the name of her sworn knight who was not with her anymore "He died."
Lady Tyrin frowns confused "'Died'?"
"Yes," Johanna nods "Robert was not happy when I tried to leave, so Ser Sebastian stayed on the beach fighting off the soldiers and was killed."
If she was expecting words of sympathy she got none from Lady Tyrin who thought while Ser Sebastian should not have perished, Johanna deserved to pay for the deaths that had happened within the Red Keep even if she had no hand in it.
It was her actions that divided the Realm after all.
"I will light a candle." is all Lady Tyrin says as she looks the Queen over as she nods trying to keep the tear from falling from her eye.
"Was they happy?"
The question catches the Arryn Lady off guard as she looks at the Queen startled as Johanna looks back at her.
"Pardon?"
"My sons," Johanna rephrases "Were they happy in the time leading up to their deaths?"
Lady Tyrin muses before sighing "They were as happy as they could be, Rhaena is with child you know. Aemond will never get to see his child born, he never even knew. Maegor will never see his children grow, never be able to train his sons in combat."
Johanna nods as she bows her head trying to keep her tears at bay as she sniffs as Lady Tyrin turns to her.
"You brought this upon all of us Johanna."
"I know."
"You were selfish and divided the Realm which resulted in death."
"I know."
"I will not be able to forgive you for a while Johanna," Lady Tyrin says to her friend who bows her head with a nod.
"You have broken my heart and I am unsure how to repair it."
In the Red Keep the Dowager Queen Rhaella Targaryen takes a deep breath as she steps up onto the balcony of her chambers and smiles slightly as she steps forwards and falls onto the rocks below.
"Grandmother!" is the last thing she hears as she falls.
Rhaenyra who had entered the chamber to check on her grandmother who had locked herself in her chambers without eating for days. She opened the doors just in time to see her grandmother vanishing from sight as she fell forwards.
"Grandmother!" Rhaenyra screams as she runs to the balcony and looks down to see her grandmother land on the rocks below as guards rush into the chamber alarmed at Rhaenyra's screams.
They pull the Princess away from the railing as they yell orders at each other, as they do Rhaenyra slowly falls to the ground as her body becomes racked with sobs.
"Grandmother? Grandmother!"
