"Where is she!" Robert roars two days later when a servant comes to him to say that the Queen and her Targaryen children along with his youngest 'son' Tommen had vanished.
He pauses as he realises he should have thought something was happening when Johanna had ordered her personal household to leave the capital for Winterfell.
Or so she claimed when he had asked her when they dined for the first time in years together in his chambers.
Jaime and Cersei Lannister, Sebastian Cooke and Lady Tyrin Arryn had also vanished with his wife, their Queen. Under the cover of night they had rushed out of the Red Keep to an awaiting boat at the docks.
No one knew who was waiting for them or who had collected them from the waters since no one could survive the waters in that boat for more an a day.
"I do not know my King" Otto Hightower tells the King "I did not know what she was planning I swear on the honour of the Kingsguard."
"You were seen entering her chambers where you stayed for over an hour!" Robert seems to have forgotten how to talk normally, all he seemed to be able to do know was how to yell or roar. "What did you speak of?!"
"We talked of the marriage between her daughter the Princess Mycella and the Lord Rob Stark" Otto Hightower lies soothly "She wished to visit them soon."
Robert looks the Hightower lord over before waving him off "Send me a whore." The King commands the Lord who bows his head before he leaves the King's chambers.
"Lord Otto!"
Lord Hightower looks around as the Queen's eldest son with Robert Baratheon Cassian jogs over to him with a hand on the pommel of his sword. Otto bows his head as Cassian jogs over to the Hightower.
"Prince Cassian"
"Where is my mother?" Cassian instantly asks "Spare me your sweet lies I know that she told you where she went. Where is my Mother?"
Nervously Otto Hightower looks back towards the King's chambers before leading the Baratheon away from his father's chambers as a whore that looked like Johanna entered the King's chambers.
"Where is my mother? Why did she leave?"
"The Queen is safe," The Hightower tells the Baratheon "She had overheard your father wishing for her departure from this world so she left with her children."
"What about me?" Cassian asks, his voice is child like as he tries to keep the tears at bay.
"She believed you would not have wished to join her as she said you had always longed for the Iron Throne, thus she did not wish to make you choose" The Hightower says gently.
"She should have told me," the Prince chokes out to which he gains a nod from Otto Hightower.
"On this we are in agreement but would you have chosen your mother over the Throne?"
Cassian sighs as he shakes his head "No, no I would not have."
As Johanna is carried off of the row boat by Ser Sebastian who had carried Rhaena ashore before her. Aemond had put Tommen on his shoulders and her children were now waiting for her on the beach as a small party made their way down to the beach from the Dragon Keep.
"Thank you," Johanna thanks Ser Sebastian who bows his head as Aemond and Rhaena walk over to their mother who puts her hands onto Tommen's shoulders as they watch the Targaryen party reach them.
In the party was Aegon with Rhaenyra, Maegor and Helaena but they were not who caught Johanna's attention.
The person who caught her attention was Daemon Targaryen who stood before her with a crown on his head that made him look every inch the King he was.
"My beloved wife."
