Lady Tyrin's husband the Lord Arryn was dead. He had passed in his sleep said the raven that came to Kingslanding a week before the lady herself did. Her children were in the Vale as per the wishes of the late Lord Arryn.

Lady Tyrin's influence over the Queen had been missed by the King who was angry the Hightowers had gotten so much power over his wife to the point that she was looking for them in the crowd rather than himself.

They had made her so reliant on them that she could not seem to function without them, she constantly looked for Lord Otto's approval or the approval of his daughter Lady Ceryse. It drove him mad.

Not to mention that she had put the Hightower beacon into her own coat of arms.

Lady Tyrin liked the Hightowers but not as much as the Queen but she liked them too much for Daemon's peace of mind. However, due to her hesitance over the Hightowers and not taking them at face value she had Daemon's trust.

Or as much trust as he put in anyone who was not Targaryen or of Old Valyria.

As the Former Lady Arryn stepped out of her carriage she was surprised by the greeting she got, it seemed the whole court was waiting for her including the King and Queen themselves, the King seemed his usual state of bored while the Queen smiled down at her childhood friend who smiled back at her.

The white of her dress stood out against the green of the necklace around her neck and the red of the rubies sewn into her hair that was braided back from her face in a simple twist. When Lady Tyrin looked at the rest of the Queen's children she saw that all of them had hints of green in their clothes.

Aegon had an emerald chain of office around his neck, the emeralds were in every second disc with black rubies in a seven pointed star around them. On the main disc that rested in the middle of his chest was a dragon head with the Hightower flame in front of it's mouth.

Maegor had a dyed green patch over the missing eye that had been taken from him as a child from poachers. Although the patch was never often on his face, now in the place of his eye was a light green diamond, so light it seemed blue in a certain light.

Helaena had a green bracelet on the arm linked to Maegor. The bracelet was a solid gold cuff with the emeralds dancing around it in the shape of flames with black rubies as well as red.

Rhaenyra had an emerald diadem around her head as did her children. Well, it had one emerald in the middle of her forehead while seemingly vines made of gold twisted all around her head and vanished into her hair as it held a veil over her hair almost like a semi-septa head covering.

Aemond had a coat so dark you would think it was black rather than green with gold threaded hints of flames all over the coat.

While Rhaena had a pair of drop emerald earrings that where falling from a dragon head with its mouth open so it looked like the dragon was breathing out green flames..

Tommen had a dagger around his waist with a lion head at the hilt with green emeralds shining where the eyes should be.

Only then did she realise the extent of the Hightower influence over her friend and her family. Lady Tyrin looked at her King who nodded to her, the both of them having a silent conversation expressing their worry over Otto Hightower's hold over their Queen.

"Welcome home," Johanna says with a smile as she steps forwards to her friend and clasps her hands in her own "We are delighted you have returned to us and your home."

"I would say it is nice to be home, but I scarcely recognise it." Lady Tyrin's words echoed over the courtyard that fell silent before the King, Daemon Targaryen, burst out into laughter at the Lady Arryn's words.

"How good it is to have you back my Lady," he bows his head to Lady Tyrin who smiles back at him with a bow of her head.

"I am glad you are happy to see me your grace," Daemon nods as he walks into the keep his laughter continuing to echo over the courtyard.
