The news of the Queen's death spread like wild fire. The Kingdoms were in uproar, even though she had brought the Realm to its knees she was still loved.
The Red Keep was in shock as the King wept in the privacy his chambers provided. It had taken two days to recover the body of the Queen since the tides had come in by the time they realised what had happened.
The Targaryen children had watched as Maraxes had roared in pain at the sight of her rider's body and vanished into the clouds. No one had seen her since, people believed she had returned to Old Valyria across the seas.
Daemon had watched with no emotion on his face as the love of his life was put onto the table of the Silent Sisters. His last remaining son Aegon stood behind him with Tommen at his side as he watched his mother be wrapped in the funeral clothe.
Tommen had not spoken since the Queen's death. Everyone had tried to make him speak but no words pasted his lips as he mourned his last remaining parent.
He had seen his father die and how he was looking at his mother's body. His siblings could not understand as they had not lost their father as well as their mother.
Daemon could, but he was never good at showing emotion and refused to look at the youngest son of his late wife since he was the image of his mother.
Rhaenyra was the copy of her but they had such different personalities while Tommen looked like her and had her personality which made looking at him painful.
Ellyn had had the worst reaction by all accounts. She had screamed and torn her chambers apart before refusing to allow anyone to enter them or come near her.
At the Queen's funeral the two Cooke children stood side by side their hands clasped as they watched their mother's pyre burned in front of them. The remaining children of the King stood together as they glanced over at their younger siblings wishing they were close.
Their relationship had faded since the war and the Targaryens had never tried to repair it even though their siblings had.
Now the relationship would never recover as the two fractions of children stood apart from each other as the King stood between them watching with a stoney face as the pyre burned.
Lady Tyrin stood behind the Targaryen children her head bowed as tears fell from her eyes as her dearest friend was taken from the world.
Now she could no longer deny the fact that her friend was gone.
Johanna Lannister the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, the wife of two Kings, the Mother of another was dead.
And she would never be coming back.
She had left two fractions of children and a heart broken husband.
If they were not careful another war would be on their hands.
