Johanna stands behind her husband who is holding onto Helaena who is sobbing as she watches her husband's body burn before her. Her arms are around her children Aegor and Baelor who are crying for their father as Aemond burned.

Ser Sebastian's body was still unfound even though the Queen had sent men to try and find him. There were reports that a boat had dumped a body at sea while other reports said he was hung as a warning to those who might try and harm the Baratheon King.

How she ever supported Robert Baratheon or the Hightowers she had no idea. At the beginning she believes it was because they offered her a sound board and attention.

Attention she was not getting elsewhere for anything bar being the Queen.

She had always wanted to be more that a Lady stuck in her Castle. Even if the title she held as the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and the Castle was the Red Keep.

She had wanted to be more.

And Otto Hightower punished her for it.

"Helaena? Rhaenyra?" Johanna cals nervously for her daughters who are arm in arm as they walk through the Red Keep after returning from the hill where the pyres were starting to loose their intensity.

The two Princesses turn to watch their mother walk to them nervously ringing her hands together so hard the blood seems to be cut off from her fingers. Helaena unable to look at her mother turns her head as tears fall down her face.

It amazed everyone how much Helaena and Maegor had loved each other since they were so opposite.

Helaena was sweet, calm, level headed, warm  and quiet while Maegor had been gruff, hot headed, cool and loud.

They made each other whole Johanna had always said with a smile on her face but now due to her own actions she would never see them together again. Helaena would never see her husband the father of her children again.

"What is it mother?" Rhaenyra asks harshly as she rubs her sister's back soothingly as Helaena sobs into her shoulder.

"I wish-..." Johanna trails off before starting again "How are you fairing?"

"How do you think?" Rhaenyra replies "My sisters are now a widows."

Johanna nods as she bows her head trying to keep her tears at bay. Rhaena had locked herself in her chambers and refused to allow entry to anyone even the maids who had to fight everyday to put food in the chambers. Which often went uneaten.

"I can never forgive you," Rhaenyra almost spits at her mother who looks up at her daughter's cold and harsh sounding words with surprise that she is addressing her with such emotion even though it was cruel.

Rhaenyra took great effort not to speak to her.

"You took away my brother and the husband of Helaena. You threw the Realm into war. You are no Queen."

Johanna bows her head at the onslaught of words from her eldest daughter as she glares at her mother.

"A Queen is meant to protect her people... and a mother is meant to protect her children."
