Dragons Nest

Daemon looks around from watching the sea as his mother joins him on the stone balcony of the Targaryen nursery. He nods his greeting to his mother who smiles back as she puts a hand to his arm as she puts her head to his shoulder as they look over the waves.

"Where are my siblings?" Daemon asks even though Viserys and Daenerys were to old to be asked where they were, it was a habit Daemon was unable to break.

Smiling Rhaella replies "They are in the kitchens, the cooks are annoyed that they are there but habits dye hard."

Daemon hums his agreement as he glances at his mother who smiles back at him as she kisses his shoulder.

"Are you nervous? The riders say your children should be here within the week."

Daemon hums as he looks back out at the waves trying to avoid talking about his emotions, something he had done successfully for years. "I am happy we are to be united."

"That is a politician's answer Daemon. I know you are happy they are to be here soon but are you happy to see them again?" Rhaella scolds her son like he is a teenager again who was caught with his pants down in the library with Johanna Lannister before they were married.

"I... It will not be the same without Johanna beside them, her belly big with child." Daemon finally replies as he turns to look at his mother who nods her understanding. "I miss her more than I can put into words. More than there are stars in the sky."

"You should have been a poet. You would have been in high demand." Rhaella chuckles and Daemon smiles a silent thank you that she had moved on from talking about his feelings.

"Instead my idiotic older twin brother stole away Lyanna Stark and started a war that broke our family, resulted in the death of his children and wife, and took mine own away." Daemon rages and Rhaella remains quiet since she as well held resentment against her first born son. "If he was not already dead I would kill him myself the title of 'Kinslayer' be damned."

"Daemon," Rhaella soothes as she runs a hand through her eldest remaining son's hair with a kiss to his shoulder "All will soon be well."

Aegon, Maegor, Rhaenyra and Helaena were spotted arriving at Dragonstone five days sooner then reported and Daemon with Rhaella, Viserys and Daenerys hurried to the throne room where Daemon stand on the throne waiting as his children where brought to him.

Aegon with Rhaenyra were the first to enter the hall arm in arm with four of Johanna's guards before and behind them. Maegor with Helaena quickly followed them with the same amount of guards in front and behind them.

Daemon looked every inch a Targaryen king as he stand the Dragon Glass throne before them with a crown on his head. The crown was not the one of Aerys that had vanished most likely melted down to make the one Robert Baratheon had on his own head.

Daemon Targaryen's crown was made of steel so dark is was black with three dragon heads above his brow, the middle one had a huge ruby in it's mouth while the one of the left had a lion and the one on the right had a stag.

The lion was to symbolise the betrayal of Tywin Lannister and the Stag was the show Robert Baratheon. The ruby was Daemon's heart and within the ruby the name 'Lioness' was engraved which was Daemon's name for his wife Johanna Lannister.

The three dragons were held together by their wings that wrapped around Daemon's head while the tail went straight down towards Daemon's neck insuring that the crown would never slip from his head even in the times of war.

"Father," Aegon finally says with a bow of his head to Daemon who's face breaks from stoney into a smile as he stands and walks to his sons who smile back as they walk forwards with their sisters and they all hug each other.

Daemon kisses the tops of his children's heads as they hug their father tightly. Every single one of them had memories of their father and remembered him.

"Welcome home," Daemon whispers as Rhaella's eyes fill with tears at the sight of her grandchildren who finally pull away from their father and as soon as they have Rhaella gathers her skirts and runs to them pulling them into a tight hug as she kisses their hair.

Viserys who was the playmate of Aegon and Maegor also steps forwards and greets his nephews as Daenerys looks around nervously as she looks from brother to mother to new family members she had never met before.

"Robert Baratheon shall pay for the pain he has caused our family." Maegor's words ring out in the throne room.
