Lady Johanna Lannister was born to Lord Tywin Lannister and Princess Daella Targaryen his first wife.
Lady Johanna held no Lannister looks thus, Aerys II the Mad King demanded she marry his second born son the Prince Daemon Targaryen.

The Red Keep fell quickly after Aegon was seen on the roof tops by his family. When Johanna had knocked the walls their armies had barged into the city taking the half ready City Watch and guards in the Red Keep by surprise.
There had hardly been any bloodshed bar the soldiers on the walls and in front of the gates, the screams and yells had come from the terror that was inflicted on the Small Folk when they had seen the dragons.
When the Red Keep had fallen Aegon was quickly taken from the roof tops and was not allowed leave the sight of his mother who had to be pulled away so she could witness the sentencing of her once husband Robert Baratheon.
Daemon Targaryen walked towards his wife who stood at the base of the Iron Throne that had he had ordered to be returned to the glory it was before the Dance of Dragons. The swords surrounded the throne once again, the crown was placed onto his head by Johanna who smiles at him proudly as she steps out of the way of his path to the throne.
After kissing her hand he walks up the steps and sits down as Rhaella, Viserys and Daenerys stand at the right of the throne by the steps. Daemon waves for two servants to bring forth a chair for Johanna at the base of the steps so she sits before him.
The crown of Rhaenyra Targaryen, the Black Queen sat on her head as she watched her former husband Robert Baratheon being brought forwards by Ser Sebastian and Ser Arthur who bow their heads to their King and Queen before pushing Robert to his knees before Johanna who glares down at him.
"Robert Baratheon," Daemon says from the Iron Throne as Johanna sits at the base of the steps both with their crowns on their heads and their children standing to the right of them bar Aegon who was with the Maester.
"For the crimes committed against my son and Heir the Crown Prince Aegon Targaryen the Sixth of his name," Daemon continues after a glance at Johanna who bows her head to him as she turns back to look at Robert as she sits on her chair covered with furs glaring at the man who she once called her husband who was on his knees in front of her with Ser Sebastian and Ser Arthur behind him.
"I, Daemon Targaryen, Second of my name, Lord of Dragonstone, King of All Westeros, Sheild of Our People, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, hear by sentance you to die on the morrow with no change of a reprieve."
Taking a deep breath Daemon continues so speak words that shock the lords and ladies that are stood in the Great Hall.
"And I, hereby legitimise the children born between the Queen Johanna Lannister of House Targaryen and her sworn Sword Ser Sebastian Cooke of Dorne, they are to be known hence forth as Princess Mycella Targaryen of House Cooke, Prince Tommen Targaryen of House Cooke and Princess Ellyn Targaryen of House Cooke."
