Lady Tyrin looks around as Rhaenyra walks to her side and they both turn to look down at the body of the late King who was wrapped for the pyre before them.

"You did not visit in his last hours," Rhaenyra says without looking at the Lady Arryn who bows her head as tears slip from her eyes and fall down her cheeks.

"You do not understand," Lady Tyrin whispers as she quickly wipes the tears from her face as Rhaenyra looks at her.

"Then explain."

"The King-the late King," Lady Tyrin corrects herself as more tears slip from her eyes which she wipes away as she clears her throat.

"Daemon, I-We-... We loved each other deeply and we had made a vow when he first became ill that I would not visit when he was on this death bed, that we would only communicate by raven so his last memory of me would be a joy filled one, not one of me watching with pain as he slowly died."

"You loved Father?" Rhaenyra asks surprise coating her words as she stared at the Lady Tyrin who nods with a faint smile on her lips.

"With all my heart, we healed each other after Johanna." Lady Tyrin nods with a fond smile at the memories they had shared.

Rhaenyra blinks confused "But he married Margery Tyrell?"

"Yes," Lady Tyrin nods with a glance to the new Queen Consort "I told him to."

"Why?"

"He was King, and I could offer him nothing but Margery Tyrell would bring the Reach."

Rhaenyra looks at the Lady with a confused glance as she looked back at her with a soft smile on her face.

"The Realm needed peace not further divide." Lady Tyrin explains as she looks back at the wrapped body of the King.

"That was selfless of you," Lady Tyrin smiles at the Queen Consorts words before she replies;

"There are two deaths when it comes to the Throne."

Rhaenyra frowns as she turns to the Lady Tyrin who looks back at her with a soft smile on her face as she looks the new Queen over.

"There is the the King who sits the Throne." Lady Tyrin starts "To be the King the Prince must kill all emotion and feeling if he wishes to be a good king."

Rhaenyra nods listening closely to the words the Lady is speaking as she looks at the body of her father.

"And then there is the Heir. The person they were before."

"How do you mean?" Rhaenyra asks interrupting the Lady who frowns down at her "Do they not remain the same?"

"No. Who he was before must die for the Throne to continue."

"Will Aegon have to do the same?" Rhaenyra asks nervously as she looks down at her hands before looking up at the Lady Tyrin who places her hand atop hers with a kind smile on her face.

"Yes, he will be no different to those who came before him."

"Robert Baratheon was different."

Lady Tyrin nods as she looks at Daemon's body "Yes, and look what happened to him. Now it is your job to steer your husband, offer him unbias council and keep the Realm together. The role of Queen is never easy if you wish to be a good one."

"Will you help me?" Rhaenyra asks nervously lowering her eyes to the Seven Pointed star that rests on the Lady's chest.

"It would be an honour," Lady Tyrin smiles at Rhaenyra who smiles back in relief as she beams up at her.

"My Queen."
