I have just had the best sleep I have had in a while.The sun is beaming through the blinds causing me to stir. Usually, waking up was a simple task for me. I am a morning person after all but today it's very different.I groaned when the first beam of sunlight hit my face. His short, brown curly hair was the first thing I see. I look to my right and see that all three of us were cuddling. I am leaning on Lando's shoulder, Mattheo was cuddling Lando and Lando is resting his head on mine which causes his hair to go in front of my eyes a little. I carefully pick up my phone that was on the table,trying not to wake the boys up. I lay me head back onto Lando's shoulder and then I turn my phone on and see the time. It's nearly 9am. I usually only sleep for 5-6 hours a day but today I sleep over 10 hours which is really surprising. I look to my right and see that pair of blue eyes I have grown to find comfort and safety in. "Hey" I whisper with a smile on my face. "Good morning Liyah" he says in his morning voice. I lift my head of his should, "sorry I fell asleep on your shoulder. I didn't mean to" I say. "It's ok, I didn't mind. I didn't want to disturb you,You looked so cute and peaceful." He replies. My cheeks heat up at what he just said.
"What time is it?" Lando asks still speaking quietly because Mattheo is still sleeping. "It is after 9am" I reply. "Ok, I need to get to the track for about 12-1pm ish so do you want to hang out before that or do you want me to go back to my hotel?" He asks. "You can stay if you want to. I was going to make breakfast and then maybe go to the park for a walk or something for a little while" I say. Lando nods and then looks at Mattheo. Mattheo was slowly waking up so we wait until his eyes open to say something.
"Good morning buddy, did you sleep well?" Lando said quietly. Mattheo looks at Lando and gives him a huge smile. "Morning! You stayed over! I thought you had left and I didn't get to say goodbye." Mattheo says to Lando as he sits up straighter and then climbs onto Lando's lap to give him a hug. "I would never leave without saying goodbye" Lando replies as he pulls Mattheo into a hug. I grin at there interaction. They are so cute. "Good morning mamma, did you sleep well?" Mattheo asks me. "morning my love,I sleep good thankyou for asking" I reply. "Ok buddy are you ready to make breakfast for your mamma?" Lando asks. Mattheo nods and then climbs off Lando's lap and the runs to the kitchen. Me and Lando get up from the couch and the follow Mattheo into the kitchen. "Liyah you sit down and rest whilst I make you breakfast" Lando says to me. "I don't mind making it. You are the guest you should rest" I reply. Lando shakes his head in disagreement. "No sit down, I will make it."
I take the stool that was by the island, move it a little,and then sat down on it. I watch as Lando tries to navigate around the kitchen. He whispers to Mattheo asking him where the things are and Mattheo replies by pointing to the cupboards. The ingredients he got out are; flour, eggs, baking powder, sugar, butter and milk. I believe I already have an idea for what he is making but I don't say anything.
He whisks the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Then, whisk melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla in another. He then stirs the wet ingredients into the flour until it is all mixed together nicely. I watch as he gets a frying pan and puts it onto the heat. He waits a few minutes and the pours some of the mixture onto the hot pan.After 1 minuteor 2, he flip the pancakes and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until lightly browned and cooked in the middle. Lando repeats this process until all the batter has been used. Whilst lando was making the pancakes, Mattheo was cutting some fruit up with a blunt knife. I watch him carefully as he finishes the last piece of fruit. Once he finishes cutting the fruit, he looks up at lando and see he is steady looking at him. "Good job buddy, are you ready to plate the food up?" Mattheo nods and then helps Mattheo plate the food up. After they finished plating up, lando brought the plate over to me and placed it onto the counter. I look at the food and then look back up at lando. "Thank you " I say With a smile on my face. I can't remember the last time someone made me breakfast. It is a so cute. Lando and Mattheo both sit next to me carefully watching my every move.
I am going to get Lando to make me pancakes all the time now. They are so delicious. The fluffiness and sweetness of the pancakes are perfection. "They are so good" I say once I finished eating the food that was in my mouth. Lando and Mattheo turn to eachother and then Give each other a high five whist also whispering to each other.
