Chapter seven:

Aaliyah's pov:

"Oscar" Lando calls. Oscar turns around and smiles at us. "Hey" Oscar says with a small wave. "Hey Oscar"Mattheo and I say at the same time. "Osc, this is Aaliyah and Mattheo. They are my friends." Lando says. "We are friends!!" Mattheo asks. "Of course why wouldn't we be friends?" Mattheo shrugs at lando to answer his question. "It's nice to meet you guys" Oscar says. "Nice to meet you too." I reply.

We all spoke for about 10 minutes. At first I was really nervous to meet Oscar but he is really easy to talk to so my nerves went away almost immediately.
"Alight I better get going for my interview I'll speak to you later." We all say bye while he walks away.

"Ok one person down, one more to go." As lando says that Zack comes walking into the garage. We walk towards Zack. Meeting him was just like meeting Oscar. I was nervous but there was no need to be because at the end of the conversation we were having a laugh.

After hanging out with lando and the McLaren team for the last 2 hours, it was nearly time for sprint qualifying.
"We should really get back to our seats at the grandstand now, Thankyou for inviting us to the garage and for the paddock passes I really appreciate it." I say to Lando. "You can stay in the garage to watch sprint qualifying if you want. I'm sure Zack and Andrea won't mind" Lando suggests. "You have already done so much for us already. I couldn't ask you to do this too." I reply back "you can stay if you want to but I don't want to force you into something you don't want to do so if you want to go back to the grandstand" Lando says.

"do you want to watch the qualifying in the garage or in the grandstand?" I ask Mattheo. "In the garage please. It is awesome in here." He replies. "Ok I guess I will take you up on your offer then." I say to Lando. I turn to look at him and see a massive smile on his face. "Ok great well I have to go and get in the car now. I will see you guys later" Lando says. "See ya later. Good luck." I say to him.

Lando walks closer to me and pulls me into a hug. "Thankyou" he says while still hugging me. I hug him back instantly. "Your welcome Lan." I mumble. We both pull away from the hug and then Lando kneels down to give Mattheo a hug. "Come here buddy." Lando says. Theo's face lit up as he ran into Lando's arms. "Goodluck Lando!" Mattheo says while he wraps his arms around Lando"Thankyou. I will try my best" Lando replies. Lando pulls away from the hug and got back onto his feet. Before he leaves he takes Mattheo's cap off his head and ruffles his hair. "See ya buddy" he says as he places the cap back onto his head. "Bye Lando." Theo replies whilst he laughs. Lando gives us one last smile before walking away towards his team.
