Aaliyah's pov:

As the day came to an end, Lando walked Mattheo and me out of the building. We strolled towards my car, and when we reached it, Mattheo clung onto Lando's legs, saying, "Daddy, I doesn't want you to go." Lando knelt down, his voice filled with warmth and reassurance, "Don't worry, buddy. I'll be here tomorrow to take you and your mamma karting. It's going to be so much fun!" Mattheo's face lit up with excitement, and he quickly hugged Lando tightly before dashing towards the car, shouting, "Hurry up, mamma! I want to go to bed so we can go karting tomorrow!" I couldn't help but laugh at his eagerness, and then I opened the back door and helped him into his car seat. Once he was secure, I closed the door and turned to face Lando. Feeling apologetic, I said, "I'm so sorry for Mattheo calling you dad." Lando's eyes softened as he replied, "No need to apologize. It's a sign that he trusts me, and I'm honored by that. I hope you don't mind tho. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable" He pulled me into a warm embrace, planting a gentle kiss on my cheek. "No it doesn't make me uncomfortable. I just don't want you to feel pressured because he is calling you dad" i say. With a bittersweet feeling, I climbed into the car and drove back to my parents' house.

When i pulled into the driveway, Mattheo was peacefully sleeping in his car seat , I carefully unbuckled him and lifted him out, being extra cautious not to disturb his slumber. I grabbed my handbag and locked the car, making sure everything was secure. As I approached the front door of my parents' house, I turned the key and opened it slowly, trying not to make any noise. Once inside, I closed the door gently behind me, not wanting to disturb anyone in the house.

With Mattheo still sound asleep, I made my way up the stairs, taking each step with care. As I entered my room, I laid him down on the bed, making sure to tuck him in snugly. His little face looked so peaceful as he dreamt away.

I then walked into my bathroom and changed into an oversized shirt, wanting to be comfortable for the night. I splashed some water on my face, feeling refreshed, and brushed my teeth, ensuring I had that clean, minty feeling.

After finishing my nighttime routine, I turned off all the lights in the house, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere. I climbed into bed, snuggling up next to Mattheo, feeling the warmth of his little body against mine. With a contented sigh, I closed my eyes and let sleep wash over me, grateful for the love and joy that Mattheo brought into my life.

As the sun gently streamed through the curtains, its warm glow woke me up from a peaceful slumber. I could feel Mattheo snuggling his face deeper into me, not quite ready to face the day. But after a few moments, he looked up at me with a mischievous grin, his bright eyes filled with excitement.

We decided it was time to leave the cozy confines of my bed and make our way downstairs. As we descended the staircase, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, courtesy of my dad. And there was my mom, bustling around the kitchen, skillfully preparing a mouthwatering full English breakfast.

Mattheo, my parents and I are gathered around the dining table, enjoying a delicious breakfast. The conversation takes an exciting turn when I bring up the upcoming karting adventure with Lando.

I take a bite of my food and say, "Hey, Mom and Dad, guess what? Lando is taking us karting today! Isn't that awesome?"

Mom's eyes widen in surprise, almost dropping her coffee cup. "Oh, wow! That sounds like so much fun! Lando is such a cool guy. I'm really excited for you all!"

Mattheo, who usually keeps to himself, looks up from his plate with a mischievous smile. "Yeah, and you know what? I actually called Lando 'Dad' for the first time yesterday!"

My parents freeze, their jaws dropping in shock. "Really?!" they exclaim in unison.

I nod, a proud and happy expression on your face. "It was such a special moment. Mattheo felt really comfortable around Lando and it just slipped out. We were all surprised, but it felt right. Lando has become an important part of our lives. He is there for us when no one else is. He makes up both feels safe when we are around him. He is just great"
