Chapter twenty five:

Aaliyah's pov:

After I got ready, I had a little bit of time before I need to leave so i decided to to pack my bag quickly. I only packed a little because we are only going there for a few days. Once I finished packing my bags, I walk to Mattheo's room and start to pack his bag whilst he is playing with his toys. "Where are we going mamma?" He asks. "We are going to the uk so we can see grandad and nanna" I respond "ok! I am so excited!" He says with a huge smile on his face. "Can I pack a few toys?" He asks. I nod in response and then continues to pack the rest of his clothes. Once I was done, I zip the suitcase up and then roll it into the hallway near the front door.

"Baby,are you ready to go?" I ask Mattheo. We have been watching a show for the last hour whilst me and lando have been messaging so we can figure out what we wanted to do. We decided on going for some food and then go karting. "Yes mamma, let me go and get my shoes on!" He says as he runs towards the door, sits on the floor and puts his shoes on with a little help from me. I help him up, grab my belongings and the walk to the ground floor of my apartment. As we are walking towards the garage, I hear my name being called. I turn around and see Lando.

He looks so good. He is wearing a kith wool coaches jacket, black jeans, white Nike trainers and a white cap. "Hey guys" he says as he walks towards us, picks Mattheo up from the floor
and then hugs the both of us. He pulls away and places a kiss on Mattheo's cheek. He then looks at me and then
Gives me a kiss on my cheek. My face heats up as I look away. "Are we ready to go?" Lando asks. "Where are we going?" Mattheo asks. "It's a surprise" Lando says and he walks towards his car with Mattheo still in his arms. He opens the back door, places Mattheo in his car seat and the closes the door behind him. He quickly turns around and walks towards me. He lifts his hand and softly caresses my cheek. Our bodies pressed together heatedly against the car, breathing heavily as our lips pressed together. I could taste the sweetness of peaches and honey and our shared breath. I can feel the thud of our combined heartbeat as we tried to get closer to eachother. His lips were warm and soft.This kiss doesn't feel like the one yesterday,is full of passion and love. We pull away as we both try and catch our breath. I rest my head on his chest as I try to catch my breath.
"We shouldn't go before we are late" Lando says and he gives my one last peck on my lips and then walks to the passenger door and opens it for me. I say thankyou as I sit in the seat and buckle my seat belt. He runs round to the drivers side and then starts to drive.

We have decided to get brunch first. We  are going to the cafe we went to a few days ago. It wasn't to far from the apartment so we get there in no time.  We have just got to the cafe. Lando parks the car and then he goes to help me out of the car. He opens the passesnget door and then offers his hand out which I happily take. Whilst I close the passenger door, Lando goes to help Mattheo out of his car seat. Once he has unbuckled him, Lando picks him up and then place him onto the floor. I reach to hold his hand, which he happily gives me, and them we walk back fo the passenger door to grab my bag from the footwell.

After I grab the bag, Lando locks the car as we begin to walk to the entrance of the cafe. Lando offers his hand once again which I gladly take and hold onto it. Lando holds the door for me and Mattheo walk in. He follows closely behind and then reaches for my hand once again. As soon as we step foot into the cafe, all you could smell was the sweetness of pastries and coffee. I really need to come here more often. It is way better then the one I usually go to. we walk toward the booth we sat at last time and then sit in the same places. Mattheo tries to climb onto the booth seat. I go to help him but before I could reach him Lando reaches under his arms and lifts him up and places him next to him. I take my bag of my shoulder, place it on the seat.

"How was your night lan?" I ask. He looks at me and then responds with "it was great. I haven't slept yet but last night was really good. My and max went partying" "sounds fun" I say as the waiter walks up to our table.
"Hello, I am Marie and I will be your server today. Do you know what you want?" She says with a smile on her face. She is the same waiter we had a few days ago."Hey, can I please get the pancakes with strawberries and syrup please?" "Yes of course, what drink can I get you?" I look at the drinks part of the menu and respond with" can I get a Caramel latte please." " ok, what can I get you sir?" She directs her question to Lando.

"Can I get a sausage, egg and cheese bagel please with a latte please" Lando says whilst looking at the menu. "Of course! What can I get for you little man?" She says.

Lando looks at Mattheo and says " ok buddy what do you want for breakfast? There is pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon or an omelette" Mattheo looks at the waiter and says "Can I get the pancakes and syrup please. Oh and can I have some strawberries!!"
" sure and what drink do you want?" Marie says whilst looking at Mattheo. Mattheo places his finger on his chin like he is thinking and then says "milk please!" "Ok I will take your order to the kitchen and I will be back with your drinks shortly." She gives us one more smile before turning around and walking away.

We make small talk whilst we wait for our food. The drinks arrived about 5 minutes ago and the waiter said the food would be out in the next 15 minutes so the food should nearly be done.

"Have you got any plans this week?" Lando asks as he looks up from the colouring he was doing with Mattheo. "We are going to the uk. I haven't seen my parents in months and I really miss them. Plus I haven't been the the uk since I have had Mattheo so I need to go back" I reply. "I am going to the uk too. I have an interview on bbc radio one and then I need to go to the McLaren technology centre so I can take the trophy back" he says. It's crazy how we are both going back home at the same time as eachother.

Our food arrived shortly after. As we eat, we still continue our conversation on what we are going to do when we are in the uk. After we finish eating Marie, the waiter, returns to the table and takes our plates away. We thank her and ask if we could have the bill. She smiles and says "of course. I will just take there's plates away and then I will be right back with the bill" as she walks away. Once she has took the plates she comes back to us and gives it to us. I grab my bag and then open it so I can get my purse. " Here you go" I hear. I look up and see Lando handing his card to the waiter. Before I could protest she walks away so she could complete the payment. I look at Lando and give him a look. "You said I could pay next time" I say with a pout. Lando shrugs.

Marie comes back to the table and hands Lando's card to him and wishes us a great day. I gather all of my belonging and then stand up . I put my bag on my shoulder and the began to tidy up the crayons Mattheo had. I place them back in the pack and then I grab he drawing. "Mamma can I keep this picture" he say as he held up his artwork. I nods and then responds with "Ok baby" I then I reach to help Mattheo out of his seat. I hold my hand out, which he happily grabs and then I support him as he gets off the seat. Once he is on the floor, I step back to allow lando to get out of the booth too.

We then walk towards the door that leads to the car park. We say thankyou to Marie one more time and then proceed to the exit. As we reach the door, Lando held the door open for us. I mumble a quick thankyou and then exit the cafe.

"Lando I drew this for you"" Mattheo says as he held his artwork up so Lando can take it. Lando looks down at Mattheo and smiles. "Thank you buddy, I will treasure this and place it in a picture frame when I get back to Monaco" he says. I look at the picture he has drew and I smile. "Its me you and mamma." Mattheo says. "It's very good Thank you Theo" Lando responds.
We all get into the car and we start our journey to the track.

It takes 45 minutes to arrive at the track. I get out the car, get Mattheo out and the walk towards the entrante. Mattheo's face lit up as soon as we walk into the building. "Mamma are we going karting?" He asks. "Yes baby we are" I respond. His smile grew even bigger and the started jumping up and down. "Yay! I am so excited. Lando we are going karting!" He says. "I know buddy let's go" Lando says and he walks towards the main reception. "Hello welcome how can I help you?" The worker asks." Hellos can I please rent a kart and a helmet for a four year old please." Lando asks. "Yh of course" she respond. I reach in my bag to get my card out to pay but before I can, lando has already payed. I shake me head as he looks at me. "What?" He says whilst laughing.
