Chapter twenty four:

Aaliyah's pov:

I can't believe I did that. I kissed him. And he kissed me back. He has just left to go to the party celebration. He didn't want to go but I wanted him to enjoy his night, he deserves it, he won a formula one race after all.

After a brisk shower, I wrap a towel around my body and brush my teeth, as well as brushing my hair and then braiding it so it doesn't get damage. I walk to my closet, grab some pjs on and then get changed in to them.

I walk over to my bed and then get in the covers. I turn the tv on and then put a Netflix movie on. As I was watching the movie, I get a phone call. I didn't even check who it was before answering it.

Aaliyah: "hello?" I question. All I here is load music in the background.
?: "hey Liyah" I hear on the other end of the phone.
Aaliyah: "Lando? Is that you?"He is the only one who calls me that.
?: "yh it is" that makes so much sense now. I gave him my number earlier because I wanted him to sent the pictures he said he took earlier.
Aaliyah: "I thought you were going out with your friends to celebrate" I say
Lando: "Yh i am out right now. I just wanted to talk to you."
Aaliyah: "you saw me 45 minutes ago"
Lando: "I know I just miss you and Mattheo." Aww he is so cute.
Aaliyah: "we miss you too but u will see us soon. Go and enjoy your night" I respond.
Lando: "ok I will. I will call you later if that's ok with you."
Aaliyah: "yh that's fine. Speak to you later lan"
Lando: "ok goodnight"
Aaliyah: "goodnight" I say as I hang up the phone.

I put my phone down onto my bedside table and then turn the tv off. I turn my bedside light off, wrap myself in my duvet and then close met eyes. I can't sleep. I keep tossing and turning. I sign and the turn my light back on. I grab my phone and then start to scroll through instagram. Most of my feed is about Lando's win the other is my friends from back home. I kinda miss England. It sounds weird but I miss the feeling of comfort and I miss my parents. I haven't saw them for a few months and I just really want one of my moms hugs.

I exited instagram and then go onto google to book the next available flight. I book the flight for tomorrow at 3pm the rest of the flights were full. Mattheo is going to be so excited. He hasn't been to England since he was 2. My parents usually come here we never go to them. After my transaction is complete, I put my phone back down, turn the light off and then try to go to sleep. After struggling for 30 min I began to feel myself fall to sleep.

I wake up the next morning with something clinging onto my side. I open my eyes and look down to see Mattheo fast asleep cuddling me. I cuddle him back for a little before deciding to go onto my phone for a bit until he wakes up. I see I have already had a message from lando.

Lan🧡: good morning liyah

Aaliyah: morning lan u ok?

Lan🧡: yup I'm good how are you?

Aaliyah: I am good thx for asking x

Lan🧡: good good. What are your plans today? x

Aaliyah: I might go out with Mattheo for a little and the later I have a flight to catch. x

Lan🧡: Oo ok mind if I join you when u go out?

Aaliyah: of course not you don't need to ask.

Lan🧡: ok thx I'll be at urs in 30? x

Aaliyah: ok see you soon x

I check the time and see it's nearly 9am. I look down at Mattheo and see he is already wide awake. "Good morning mamma" he says whilst wiping his eyes."good morning baby how are you?" I ask whilst running my finders through his hair. "I am good mamma how are you?" He responds "i am good baby thankyou for asking. We are going to see Lando in a little while. He is going to come with us to do something . "Ooo ok where are we going ?" "I don't know yet baby but he will be coming here in 30 minutes." I say as Mattheo bolts out of the cuddle I was giving him and then runs to his room so he can start getting ready. I laugh as I get out of bed and then quickly get ready for the day.
