We have just got to the airport. Lando gets our bags out of the boot whilst I get a sleepy Mattheo out of his car seat. I carefully pick him up trying not to wake him up. Once I have him picked up, his head rests on my shoulder and his arms wrap around my neck. I pick his backpack up off the floor alongside my own. I carefully shut the door behind me and then walk towards lando. "Do you want any help" I say quietly. "No it's fine I got it" Lando says as he closes the boot.
After we got everything out of the car, we walk towards the entrance of the airport. It was not very busy surprisingly. The only time we got interrupted was when a few people came up to Lando and asked for a picture which he happily took with them.
As we were walking towards security, all we spoke about was our plans whilst we were in the uk. We came to the conclusion that we will meet up and go out one of the days.
"This is as far as I'm allowed to go" lando says as he stops rolling the suitcase and faces me. "Ok we will see you soon then" I reply sadly. I don't know why I'm sad,I have only really known him for a few days but we have seen each other every day since we met. "Yh and when I am in the uk, I will take you both to the track I did karting when I was grew up and I will take you to a few of my favourite places." Lando says as he pulls me into a hug. I wrap my free arm around his waist and hug him back immediately. I rest my head in his chest and let out a big sign. "I will see you later. Message or call me when you have safely landed" Lando says. "Ok I will" I say as I pull away from the hug.
I was so focused on his eyes that i did not even notice how much closer he was now. Our bodies radiated the same heat and our lips held identical smiles. As he leaned in, I felt a rush of anticipation and nervousness. I don't want the press to find out. I quickly look around to see that no one was around. I finally noticed how close he truly was when his lips enclosed on Mine; soft yet immersive, gentle yet powerful all the same. I could taste the mintiness of his breath. For a moment, nothing else existed but the two of us, lost in the intensity of the moment. I pull away and look down at Mattheo and see his is waking up. He slowly opens his eyes and was met with me and lando looking at him. "Are we going on the plane yet?" Mattheo asks. "Not yet baby, we need to go through security and then we will be able to get on the plane" I reply. "I have to go now buddy, I will see you soon" Lando says to Mattheo. He looks up at Lando and then reaches his arms out. Lando takes him out of my arms and the gives him a hug. "Buh bye Lando! I will see you when we go karting!" Mattheo says. "Bye Theo" Lando says as he pulls away from the hug and then places him in the floor. I get pulled into one more hug and a kiss on the cheek before lando says bye one more time and then he walks towards the exit of the airport.
As we go through security, I decide to go to the shop. We walk in one of the stores and pick up a few snack for the plane ride there and a drink whilst we wait for the plane to be ready for boarding."Can I please have this mamma?" Mattheo asks as he holds up a capri sun. I nod my head and take the capri sun out of his hand. I grab everything we want and then walk to the register. Once it was all payed for, we walk towards the correct waiting area for the plane. We only end up waiting 15 minutes before there was an announcement saying the plane was feast for passengers. I pick up mine and Mattheo's backpacks and the walk towards the gate number that was on my ticket. The ticket got scanned, we got told our seat numbers and then we walked into the tunnel towards the plane.
It didn't take long before the plane was ready to take off because it was already at capacity. I'm not a big fan of flying because of the turbulence. Mattheo is the complete opposite of me, he doesn't mind the turbulence. The plane gives a quick shudder,It stops for a few moments until you can hear the engine roars louder and louder getting ready for departure. I got increasingly more nervous with each roar of the engine. The aircraft's nose starts to rise, and the wheels begin to leave the ground.
