Chapter 6 :- Won't Let Her Off Easily

          Caroline trembled under her gaze. The last time she saw a look this terrifying was from this girl's mother. Even as she died that cold eyes pierced through her soul, giving her nightmares for months. 'Never!, she'll not be suppressed by a child. She had killed that woman so she would also suppress her daughter ' she reaffirmed herself.
          Caroline stood up determined and wanted to hit her face but just like last time, Evelyn side stepped her making her miss and tripped. She let out a small laugh and spoke "Even if you're to hit someone at least be coordinated. You just fell like a sack of beans it's really embarrassing. At your age and marital status you shouldn't still be an eye sore in the family"I taunted her a bit she wanted to try to hit me again but had already sprained her ankle so she could only sit on the floor. "I hate to hit an elder and I only hit your daughter because she needed her brain to be revived. I don't believe you need your brain to be revived and even if you did that fall must have jolted it awake. I'm giving you face by not hitting you but if there be a next time, I'll hit you so hard you'll dread looking in the mirror again"I threatened then walked out.

          Somewhere in a large office, a man sat holding a document and exuding that aura of a great king."Young Master"another man called out but the king did not even look up to acknowledge his presence. "Young Master, the Stone family is inviting us to a ball for......"Sawyer his faithful assistant began and praying to the heavens he leaves unscathed. "And we're so idle that we attend just anybody's ball?"Logan asked with a tinge of anger. If the Stone family were present they'll be so angry they'll vomit blood for being referred to as just anybody. They were one of the many wealthy matriarch in County A but they weren't still worthy to view the shoes of the Smith family talklesss of the First Master of the Smith Family. "The Old Madam insists that you pay them a visit and if you keep refusing you're not giving her face "Sawyer insisted. He was really courting death with his actions but he tarried on. "Prepare a car, suit and gifts we leave in ten minutes"was Logan's reply before walking out. Sawyer could finally breath a sigh of relief. He had just escaped the claws of death and was left unharmed. Yes, it was safe to say his Young Master was death himself.

          Evelyn entered her room which was well to her taste. 'If she remembered clearly,  there would be a ball soon to welcome her and that would be the venue for those witches to strike first starting with........'. There was a knock on the door and she smirked 'Bingo!' . She opened the door and there was a Young Maid outside holding a Yellow evening dress. "The First Miss asked me to give you this for the ball"she dared not look up because of the frosty eyes Evelyn used to stare at the gown and her. The maid mumbled a few incoherent words before walking away.   Evelyn took the gown and smirked. The party will begin in three hours so she set a timer for two hours fifteen minutes and went to sleep giving her only forty-five minutes to get ready.
          "What!that bi**h is still sleeping at this time?"Ava exclaimed in shock. There was an ice pack on both sides of her cheek while her mother had one on her leg. "Let's see how she'll get herself ready in time and even if she did, she'll be bound to fail"she completed the rest in her mind. "That little s**t dare to hit us mom we won't let her off easily. She'll wish she was dead". God knows if Evelyn had heard this she'll probably laugh them to scorn because she had died once so why die again.
