The alarm rang in the room and Evelyn groaned in frustration before putting it off. She sat upright and stretched a bit before going to have a ten minutes shower. She got out then looked at the dress carefully and found the error. Just where the belt had been placed was cut so a little tug and the lower part of the dress will come off and those despicable people plan to do just that at the party. Evelyn fixed the dress and walked out slipping into Ava's dressing room and tampered with her favourite and newly bought gowns. She then put pins into the gown where it will not be easily found. "Let's see you try to hold your head high after this"she mumbled before slipping out the way she came in. Undetected
Soon the party began and there were more guests than usual because there was a rumour that the First Master of the Stone family would be attending. After a while Evelyn was still no where to be seen and the Old Lady was growing impatient. "Where's your sister?"she asked Ava who was beside her in a low voice. "I don't know. You know sister just came back from the village and maybe lacks confidence to face the guests"she replied in a slightly loud voice attracting people's attention and soon mummuring ensured. The Old Lady's expression changed slightly and she urged Ava to go and get her down.
Ava walked gently and slowly not because she wants to but because each step she took always results into a sharp pain. The gown had been thoroughly checked but nothing out of the ordinary was at found so she could only endure and smile. Just as she was about to ascend the stairs Evelyn appeared and she couldn't help but admit that she looked stunning. The Yellow gown made her stand out and her beautifully plaited white hair attracted attention from everyone. She looked like a goddess that had ascended from her high throne to pay them a visit. No one dared to look at her for long or they'll be obsessed to the point of no return.
