REBORN AGAIN:- Master's Darling Wife

Chapter 30:- DINNER 1

             As Evelyn left the place starving to the depths of her stomach. She went to a a place where pastry is sold and immediately ordered 2 large buns and a soda.
          As she collected her order, and was about to leave her eyes caught sight of a old lady about to cross the road and a car coming straight at her. Without thinking twice, she ran to her and pushed her out of danger at the cost of her meal.
          "Are you okay?"she asked and it seemed she was still in shock because she did not respond to anything she was asked.
          Evelyn sighed and had to call 911 to take her to an hospital. Although she felt the lady was familiar she couldn't remember where she had seen her in her new life nor her past. She made sure they came before continuing on her way to get a new meal of course before she blacks out.

          Logan received a call that his grandmother was in the hospital. He was still contemplating on how to get that little white rabbit back to his home to have her sleep beside him so that he could fall asleep easily just like last night when he received the urgent news.
          Logan raced to the hospital and dashed into her ward only to see her calmly cutting an apple while humming a song as she turned her head left then right.
          "Grandma?"he was shocked. "I said it! You rascal will only come to see me when I'm on my death bed. Get out you jinx of a grandson!"she scolded hurling pillows, plastic plates, plastic cups, her shoes and was about to throw her phone when she stopped.
          " Are you done?" Logan who had dogged everything hurled at him asked.
          "You brat!"the Old Woman exclaimed in anger as she pointed her finger at him. She began to cough violently and hyperventilate so he handed her a cup of water to calm her down. "You had better take it easy and don't die yet"he said in a cold but soft voice.
          "It's not like you won't be happy if I should die" she retorted snorting at him. "We'll see about that" was his reply and there was a few minutes of silence.
          "You won't even ask why I ended up here?"she asked and Logan threw his head up. "Let me guess, you were watching a  c-drama and the female lead was about to make a bloody mistake and your blood pressure shot up and you landed in the hospital. Typical you grandma" Logan replied and she hurled her bracelet at his face but obviously missed.
          "You're a big brat. I should have given you up for adoption and get a bicycle in return. For your information that wasn't what happened. I was on my way to a tea party and the car broke down so I had to call for a new one. As I was about to cross to meet up with the new car I wasn't careful and a car was about to hit me when this beautiful girl who looked like an angel saved me" she told him and he had a frown on his face.
          "You should be more careful. If not for that angel you'll be long gone " he scolded her. "Don't scold me and I said she looked like an angel, she wasn't an angel" she insisted with a loud voice preparing to smack him with a pillow.
          "Okay then how did she look like?"he asked. "She has a bright blue eyes and long white hair. A good figure, kind heart, soft milky skin" she was describing but Logan was hardly listening as because only one girl came to his mind.
          "Grandma describe her in one word" he said and she thought deeply for a while before deciding on a name. "Blue eyed angel". "Rabbit" they said.
          "Rabbit?"his grandmother was shocked. "Wait! Do you know her?"she asked but he did not reply . "You do know her" she said with a delighted voice.
          "Logan you cannot let her slip away from your hands, you have got to marry her" she said and his head snapped towards her looking at his grandmother like she was crazy. "She is very nice and beautiful, you have to marry her Logan" she insisted. "Because she saved your life?,  you're being ridiculous. If that's how marriage works then I should just wed Sawyer" he said with a mocking voice. "I am serious here, marry her" she insisted. "You don't even know if she as a fiancé"he replied her. "Then you snatch her from the so called fiancé and marry her. I don't believe that should be a problem to you" she said and he sighed.
          "Get some rest grandma. We'll talk about this another time"he said standing up to leave. " Logan if you don't do as I say, I'll disown you then kill myself "

Alicia had already got home from school, the Old Madam was yet to come back while the rest of the family was still with Tyler's probably apologising and tying to find an alternative while she, she was watching 'When I Fly Towards You' on her laptop.
          She was so engrossed in the movie when her cellphone rang . She picked it up and it was a private number. It rang a few more times before she picked it up.
          "Yes?". "Miss Evelyn, good evening. Apologies for disturbing your evening but I'll like for us to meet up" Sawyer on the other line said and she double checked to see if this was real. "Why?"she asked. "It actually can't be said on the phone can you please come to Evergreen coffee shop, I'll be waiting" and the call was ended.
           'That was weird' she thought still wondering what was going on when her mind told her mind told her that maybe something had happened to Logan. Fear gripped her as she hurriedly ran out of the house, praying for his safety in her heart.

         Evelyn sat in shock. 'What in the world?' she thought as she stared dumbfounded at Sawyer.
          "Miss Evelyn if you're understanding what I'm saying, you'll realise that,......"he was saying but she cut him off. "He wants to have dinner with me? As he suddenly lost it?"she asked in an angry voice. 'I wonder the same thing' Sawyer replied inwardly.
          "First he pushes me away, then invites me, just to push me away again? Is he mental?"she was fuming. She paused her movie for this nonsense?
          "Let's be calm please" he said but she held her hand out to him to silence him. "Tell him I said he's crazy, he should leave me alone, I'm not a toy nor cheap and screw him" and she walked out.
