Cole barely contained his laughter. His eyes became teary as he bit his tongue to stop himself from laughing. Logan's dark face was so funny, he believed if he should laugh he might never stop.
Evelyn looking at Cole barely able to hold back in laughter burst into laughter and they both laughed at the man seated.
It took a while before she could stop but this was a rare sight for Cole so it was hard to stop.
"If you have so much energy put it into good use and mine coal in Africa" Logan said with a voice dripping with anger and he immediately shut up.
"My grandmother wants you to come"he said after there was silence in the room.
"Why?"she asked quite confused. They weren't close and she didn't say she was dating her grandson.
"Should I ask her?"he replied and she shook her head rapidly. "I'll send someone to get you ready we leave in fifteen minutes"he said and stood up to leave.
"I haven't said I was going"she pointed out and both men stopped to look at her.
"I wasn't asking, get ready we leave in fifteen minutes"he said coldly and walked away with Cole who waved her a goodbye
"Bastard"she muttered as she glared at the door. The caretaker came and did dress her up. She was dressed in a simple black skirt, white and pin top .
She looked simple yet elegant in her own way. The top complimented her hair which was beautifully styled in a high ponytail and the pink complimented her lips.
She got out in 13 minutes and saw Logan who sat with his legs crossed and a document in one hand. She couldn't help but admit he looked handsome in his casual clothes. A black turtle neck, black jeans and a black oversized coat. Actually, we can just say it's all black and it made him look like a god of destruction especially the boots he wore.
"If you're done staring, let's go and wipe your drool"his cool voice snapped her out of her trance and her face flushed with embarrassment.
Logan turned to look at her and was held captive for 5 seconds. She looked like a college student. Full of life, energy and light. It made her appear like a sudden rush of new air and a low smile graced his lips.
"What?"she asked blinking her beady deep blue eyes at him lile a doll. He swallowed then walked away without a word.
'So weird' she thought as she walked closely behind him. She was admiring the hospital surroundings and unknown to her, he stopped as she hit her nose directly on his rock like back.
Her nose reddened instantly and turned sour. Logan turned back to see her rubbing her nose and he frowned slightly.
"Watch where you're going"he told her in his usual cold voice but one could sense the worry in it.
"No one asked you to suddenly stop. You should really come with a warning label"she muttered then walked away.
She had been injured twice because of him,saves his life twice too, he is a hazard to society.
Sawyer who has been waiting by the car sighted Evelyn and opened the door respectfully for her.
She smiled at him then got in, followed by Logan while Cole drove out in his own car.
The ride was unbearably silent and if Sawyer didn't hear a sound this instant he'll jump out of the window directly. He was going crazy what type of couple enjoy this mortuary like environment.
"Am I to prepare a gift?" Evelyn broke the silence and Sayer almost sighed from relief.
She had home there once without a gift, it'll be rude to go there the second time empty handed.
"Stop at a nearby mall. You have 10 minutes to pick up your gift and I mean it"he told her not bothering to look at her.
The car parked in the underground parking lot of Meteor Garden Mall. A very expensive mall for first class young heirs. It's meant for people who are the first 20 richest family and the Stone Family fell at 40.
"I'll be back soon"she said and dashed out of the car in a hurry.
Logan who held a black card in his hand suddenly hid it back. He wanted to give her the card, he was her backer.
"Give it to her"he told Sawyer after a long while probably seven minutes after she left.

Evelyn happily strolled into the mall. She looked through different aisle hoping to find a suitable gift then realised she knew nothing about Logan's grandma except that there were a few calligraphy paintings on her wall when she came and she seemed to enjoy tea.
She decided to buy a Chinese calligraphy set and tea set for her. A smile spread on her lips as she put it in her shopping cart. She had only used minutes and that was good. All she has to do is pay and looking at the cost of the things it should cost up to three hundred thousand dollars.
She looked at her bank account and sighed. She had up to 12 million dollars so since she had more time and money she would shop for more things. She bought a few dresses and jewelleries, a necktie for the males in the car . She was generous enough already.
As she decided to just go into impulse buying, a high pitched taunting voice called her name.
"Evelyn!"the person shouted and when she turned to look it was Laura Scott, Carol and Ava. The three duo.
Evelyn rolled her eyes in annoyance, just her luck. She decided to ignore them for her sake and theirs.
"Are you deaf?, I'm calling you?!" Laura shouted and Evelyn smiled. Didn't this girl realise the fate of her family rest in her hands?. One word to Smoke and she'll be gone.
"Good to see you too"she replied sacrasticaly and continued shopping.
"Sister fancy seeing you here. Are you here for internship?" Ava asked but Evelyn ignored her, picking out a beautiful gold bracelet designed by Wonder, the no 1 fashion designer in the world.
A haughty laughter was heard that moment. "See this cheap stake, she wants to steal!" Laura deliberately raised her voice and it attracted attention.
Evelyn's face darkened hearing them. She just labelled her a thief before thousands of people and soon the manager came.
"Good morning ladies may I understand what is the cause of this ruckus?"the kind man asked and Carol who had been the most impulsive one spoke.
"I didn't know your standards are too low you allow just anyone into your mall. See the way she's dressed and she dares picks up things from here?" Carol was seeking revenge from their last encounter.
"I didn't know to shop we need costumes . If I had known, I'll have worn a clown costume to match yours. Oh wait! I almost forgot. It's not a costume but your ugly faces"she told them with a sweet smile. The smile captivated them and it took them a while before they realised they had been insulted.
"You......! Kick her out! She obviously cannot pay for all this"Laura said like she was stating a fact and soon murmuring ensued.
"Sister please don't make things difficult and just leave" Ava tried to reason with her.
"Why?, because your father owns the mall?. Even if he owns it, you can't kick me out. Did you hear them swipe my card and say insufficient funds?. I would have understood if it was your future they presented and they called it empty due to insufficient light " Evelyn said ruthlessly and their faces changed.
"Are you all dead?. Kick her out!" Laura shouted like a lunatic. She was one of their VIP customers as she owns a black card so they could not disobey her.
"Mam I'll have to tell you to leave this premises" the manager calmly said and she scoffed in response.
"On what basis, because you think I can't afford this little thing?. Okay then, Laura if I can afford it, you and your brainless Barbies would have to apologise to me publicly by kowtowing and calling me grandfather for calling me a thief, and opening your stupid mouths to hurl insults at me. I also want compensation from this organisation for this horrible service. Laura, since you're so active let's play.
