Chapter 49:- I'LL BE YOUR BACKER, DEPEND ON ME

"I'm not you"he simply replied throwing her phone casually at her.
Evelyn was stunned stupid at his actions just now. He clearly just broke into her phone, called her shameless and then act like nothing happened. Is he mental?!.
"Excuse you?!. First Master I'm forced to think you have a personality disorder. This is absurd!"she said in an annoyed but he did not spare her a glance but walked to the window to stare at the full moon.
"If I have a personality disorder then you represent disorder yourself. What person has no...."he stopped himself from saying more and she raised her eyebrow at him in curiosity.
"Young Master Miss Clara seeks your attention" Sawyer interrupted them and Evelyn scoffed.
"First Master attend to your fiancé and stay away from my business. If you don't know the rules of the land I'll remind you that I can file a restraining order against you because this isn't just about being attracted to my beauty and amazing personality but an unhealthy obsession"she said with a tone that screamed narcissism.
Sawyer almost choked on his laughter. The Young Lady was a damn narcissist and the First Master's eye twitch showed his extreme annoyance at her narcissistic words.
"Don't overthink you're being unbelievable"he scolded her in his deep and low tone which caused a slight ripple in her heart but she shook it off. 'He is an arrogant bastard don't dare to think about him anymore ' she scolded herself.
"Tell her I'll be there"he told Sawyer who was already glad to be excused. He couldn't handle anymore of this couple's back and forth.
"Why not leave now?, I'm sleepy"she said forcing a yawn out of her mouth.
"Does it still hurt?"he asked in a soft tone as he glanced at her bandaged wounds. She had gotten hurt because of him and he suddenly seemed to have remembered that.
"What's it to you?"she asked after she snapped out of her daze. She had to bite her tongue to keep herself awake and not drift to an unknown world.
His eyes flashed with an undescribable emotion as if the word affected him greatly. "What was your sperm donor's visit about?"he changed the topic.
"How did you....... Oh!I forgot from now my life events are now yours and nothing can be hidden from you since I now lack my privacy!"she said angrily glaring daggers at him with a bloodshot eyes.
"I didn't mean that"he said in a stiff tone. He was clearly trying to apologise but maybe his complex personality made it impossible for him to express himself like they both wanted.
"Of course"she said sacrasticaly with an eye roll as she turned away to sleep but he held her by her shoulder careful not to hurt her.
"I'm not done. I said I didn't mean to invade your privacy. No one as ever been close to me before and I finding strange because people always approach me with a motive but you're the first I've seen without one. All I'm trying to say is......"he paused to take a deep breath as if gathering divine strength from above.
"I'm sorry"he said in a low tone that people wouldn't normally hear but she had great hearing ability and besides they were close.
"Huh?"she was stunned stupid. Did the almighty Logan, king of the business world just apologize to her. It was good to be true. She was sure sorry wasn't in his dictionary at all not in his capability.
"Shut up I'm not repeating it !"he said and turned away. He had done something termed impossible and it felt strange even on his own tongue.
"I'm not asking you to it's just....."she couldn't continue as she burst into laughter. "I'm sorry this is just.... I'm sorry"she said when she could finally control herself and of course his face was extremely dark. He had just been laughed at and he was not taking it well.
"Oh look at the time you have got to go it's quite late and you have someone waiting for you"she said trying to to kick him out with a nervous smile but he stood stood rooted in the stop. It's not like she had any real strength to push him out.
"I'll get you into a good university and I'll find a way to break you from that boy, consider it as a sorry and thank you for the life saving actions"he said and turned to leave but she stopped him.
"I don't want your charity because you'll always find ways to insult me with it. You take pleasure in bringing me down. Don't find ways to do that again. Leave please"she said, emotionally tired and not able to see his clenched fist in his pockets.
He knew he was wrong, he knew he had hurt her, he had just apologised but he had a lot of making up to do but he didn't want to admit it and this might just be the reason for his downfall. She would finish him as a woman's heart is sweet but venomous and he has just stomped on it.
Logan stared at her for a while but she has no energy to even look at him because she might actually cry angry tears and she would rather cry in Ryan's hands than cry before him.
"It's not charity it's my way of showing my sincerity. I never owe anything and I don't want you to be the first. If you need anything in the future, come to me and I'll take care of you even if it's your financial needs. I'll be your backer Evelyn Stone. We don't need any other relationship than that. Depend on me and I'll take care of you. Think about it"and he walked out leaving her in a state of complete shock. She just felt she had been on an emotional rollercoaster and she needed sleep this instant.
