Chapter 22:- BREAK OFF THE ENGAGEMENT 1

          Today was the birthday banquet of Laura Robinson, Tyler's mother which means it as been exactly one month since Evelyn last saw Logan and she was a bit saddened.
          Evelyn was dressed in a navy blue evening gown which complimented her blue eyes and her white handbag with her white hair. Tonight, just like every night she was the center of attraction.
          "Evelyn darling"Laura called out pulling her into a tight hug. "Aunty"Evelyn greeted politely. "Hush, call me mom don't be too formal you're going to be my daughter in-law "she replied and Evelyn could only smile. "Aunty"a overly sweet voice greeted. "Hello Ava"Laura replied nonchalantly. Ava gritted her teeth in dissatisfaction. She wondered what spell Evelyn used to get The Madam of the Robinson Family to like her this much.
          "Ah mom! You've already met Ava or as I'll like to call her little snow"Tyler dressed in a well tailored navy blue suit said with a smile. "Hmm you're such a brat!"his mother began scolding. "You couldn't come to accompany or help your fiancé immediately she entered but you're here for her elder sister. What type of son are you?!"she began pulling his ear in dissatisfaction. "Aunty let him go go he was just coming to her"Ava defended. Evelyn couldn't care less what Tyler was trying to do all she cared about was why they were matching. "I'll let it slide this time since you're both matching but there shouldn't be a next time"she warned then turned towards Evelyn. Tyler expressed his disgust at this, Evelyn didn't even glance at him once and Ava pouted unsatisfactorily towards him but there was nothing to be done he could only comfort her.
          The party was in full swing and people were mingling but Evelyn obediently stood beside Laura since she was her mother's closest friend. Tyler only showed up once and went to stick to Ava's side making everybody think they were the couple and Evelyn was just coincidentally matching with Tyler. Everyone kept calling them a couple but those who knew pointed out the fact that he should be accompanying his fiancée instead and Tyler just had enough.
          "Everyone I have an important announcement to make." Tyler began and Evelyn finally found something interesting. "I'll be getting engaged to Ava not Evelyn so Evelyn if you have a sense of shame, let's peacefully break of the engagement that as binded us since our mother's childhood".
