You were laying in bed, Huxley purring on your chest as he slept. You were listening to music and thinking. You were still iffy about the knowledge of Demons, but an idea that crossed your mind had you stuck.

Sebastian had almost superhuman abilities...

Was he...?

You sat up in bed, Huxley letting out a startled meow as he landed on the mattress.

"Holy shit, Sebastian's a demon..." you said out loud to yourself. A meow of protest from Huxley made you look down. You smiled awkwardly at the grumpy kitten, "Oh, sorry Huxley..."

You arrived at work a bit earlier than usual, as Sebastian was laying freshly cleaned tablecloths on tables. You paused at the doorway when you saw him, your mind racing with thoughts. Why were you freaking out so much?! You knew this stuff existed now, so why was it so nerve wracking?

You gripped your coat before hanging it up, tearing your gaze away from the tall man. His gaze fell on you and he grinned.

"Mx. (Name), why so anxious?" He asked with a tilt of his head.

You tensed up for a moment. Why was he so scary now? You swallowed before looking up at him, "I'm not anxious."

He smirked and approached you, "You're trembling and you're pale. Also, you're a terrible liar."

You stared up at him before furrowing your brows and looking away, "It's getting colder out is all..." you said before moving past him.

You could feel his eyes boring into the back of your head as you quickly made your way into the kitchen. Ignoring his gaze, you shut the kitchen door behind you, sighing. Mei-rin was sweeping the floors, raising a brow when you entered.

"You look tired, (Name). Wha's wrong?" She asked with a tilt of her head, adjusting her cracked glasses.

You rubbed your neck, "Nothing, just a bit tired, I..." you trailed off, furrowing your brows, "How did you crack your glasses?"

Mei-rin blushed out of embarrassment, avoiding your gaze, "I ah... dropped a box of china on me face." She set the broom aside, holding a defensive hand up. "But it wa'n't my faul'! If Bardroy had cleaned up the mess he made I woul'nt have slipped!"

You smiled softly, "I believe you, Mei-rin."

Mei-rin huffed, "Sebastian acted all mad, he did. Jus' cause I broke the china."

"Then he's just rude then." You walked towards her, picking up the broom, "I'll sweep, you can take a break."

Mei-rin sighed and sat down on stool in the corner, "You're a gem, (Name), you really is."

"I try." You said as you swept the floor.

When you finally had your break you chose to spend it with Pluto. Sebastian didn't like the hound, so you figured it was a nice place to avoid him. Pluto barked as he bounded up to you, his tail wagging.

You smiled, "Alright, you know the drill buddy. Sit."

Pluto quickly obliged, his large tail thumping against the ground as he sat before you. You tossed up the treat in the air, which he quickly jumped up to catch. He laid before you, happily munching on the bone-shaped dog treat.

You smiled and sat with him in the grass, "Those are peanut butter flavored. I bought them on the way here."

Pluto finished eating and leaned up to butt his head against you, almost knocking you over. You let out a chuckle and pet his head, feeding him another treat.

"He certainly does like you." A voice coming towards you made you freeze.

You looked up, grimacing when you saw Sebastian approaching. The look on his face didn't feel charming or hot anymore. It felt more sinister, like he could see right through you. Like your unease was ammusing to him...

"It's odd to see him so docile." He continued as he smiled down at you.

You avoided his gaze, petting Pluto behind the ear, "Mhm..."

"Have you been avoiding me, (Name)?" He suddenly asked.

You tensed a bit before looking up at him, "Why do you ask?"

Sebastian grinned, crouching in front of you, "Well, the fact that I've barely seen you all day is a reason."

You shifted in your spot in the grass, looking down at Pluto as he rested his head on your lap, "So what if I have?"

"Well, I'd like it if you told me why, dear."

You pet Pluto, unsure if you should bring up your suspicions of him being a demon. Eventually you sighed, "I've just been thinking about... the supernatural."

Sebastian raised a brow, "Is that really still troubling you?"

"Is that so shocking?" You looked up ay him and furrow your brows, "I mean, I'm sure if any regular person had concrete proof demons and such existed they'd be kinda shaken too." You motioned to Pluto, who's ears perked up a bit.

Sebastian hummed, tilting his head, "I suppose that is understandable." He kneeled before you, "But what else could be troubling you about it."

You paused, figuring out how to word your next sentence without raising suspsicion to what your believed, "I was just curious if... anyone I knew would happen to be a demon." You said, looking down.

Sebastian stared down at you for a moment before lifting your chin, "You really need to work on your eye contact."

You felt the heat automatically filling your cheeks as he did so. Eventually you spoke, "Stop... doing that."

"Doing what, (Name)?"

You huffed before pushing his hand away, "Teasing me when you don't want to continue a conversation just cause you know I'll get flustered." You stood up, much to Pluto's disappointment. "We get it, you're fucking hot."

Sebastian seemed a bit surprised, standing as well. Eventually he grinned, "I understand." He placed a hand on shoulder, "I'm sure you remember what I said before, though."

Suddenly he had a grip on your chin, pulling you forwards. You tensed, your breath catching in your throat. You opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

"Curiosity killed the cat." He murmured in your ear, using his free hand to run his index finger down your throat. "You really should watch out, Mx. (Name), or you might be the next one in harm's way."

Before you knew it, he was gone. You stood there in shock, bringing a hand up to touch the spot on your throat he had caressed. You swallowed and stared off into space for the longest time before you spoke aloud.

"Did he just threaten to fucking kill me?!"
