You stood near a food table, dressed in a fancy suit that Lizzie had bought you. It fit you nice and you couldn't help but notice Sebastian occasionally passing glances at you. You awkwardly nibbled on a sandwich cut into a perfect little triangle, glancing around at all the rich folk mingling.

Streams of sunlight glimmered through perfectly clear champagne glasses, the grounds a blur of colorful dresses and suits. You sighed, finishing up your sandwich and eyeing the fancy looking cakes stacked neatly on a glass tower.

"(Name)!" You heard Elizabeth call, looking up to see her dragging Ciel behind while rushing your way.

You smiled softly as she screeched to a stop in front of you. "Have you been having a nice time? You're not tormenting Ciel too much, are you?"

Lizzie giggles, hugging your boss tight. "Of course not!" But Ciel was giving you a 'help me damnit!' look.

You sighed, crouching a bit to meet Lizzie's eyes. "How about we give him a break until the next dance, alright? Maybe the slow dance?" You gave her a wink and her eyes glimmered. She nodded before rushing off to a few ladies, happily complimenting their dresses.

Ciel huffed, leaning against the food table, "Thank you."

"Eh, you looked like you could use a break."

When you looked down at him you saw him scanning the snacks. He grimaced, "Hardly any sweets."

A smile played on your lips. Gods, he really was just a kid. You reached over, picking out a particularly nice looking cupcake that was out of his view and handing it to him.

"These are pretty good. I think they're raspberry?"

The boy's eyes lit up as he took the cupcake. "Finally!"

You couldn't help but chuckle as he began to eat. It was obvious he was showing restraint, he still had a title to uphold. Once he finished he eyed the other cupcakes, wiping some crumbs from his cheek with a napkin. You smiled, glancing around for a certain butler before picking up another cupcake for him.

"Don't tell Sebastian." You said, winking down at him. You kept an eye out while he ate the second cupcake. When you noticed Sebastian approaching, you sneakily had him pass the wrapper to you behind your backs while he quickly wiped his face.

"Young master, the Viscount Druitt was curious if you'd be seeing him while you're here?" He said, stopping before the two of you with a small, polite bow.

You noticed Ciel tense, a disgusted expression on his face. You furrowed your brows, "Who's that?"

Ciel sighed, brushing his bangs from his face, "Aleister Chamber." He grumbled, "He was originally suspected to be the original Jack the Ripper, turns out he was innocent of that. Didn't stop us from arresting him for human trafficking."

You made a similar expression, a chill shooting down your spine. "Oh... Eugh."

Sebastian glanced over at you before looking back at Ciel, "I'm afraid he's already on his way. He noticed you from across the garden."

Ciel groaned before composing himself. A man with platinum-blonde hair and lavender eyes approached the two of you with a confident smile. He wore an elegant white suit that seemed to glimmer in the sun. Was that glitter? You already felt your eye twitch.

"Ah, earl Phantomhive! I had no clue you'd be here until I spotted your butler." The Viscount said, looking the boy over.

You felt your stomach twist. Why the fuck was he looking at Ciel like that? You stepped forwards without really thinking, forcing a smile.
