"Hi am I speaking to Andrew Deluca?" The lady on the other end of the phone.

"Yes who's asking?" Andrew asked confused as he walked to Carina's living room.

"My name is Olivia and I'm a nurse at Grey's Sloan Memorial hospital... I'm calling to inform you that Maya Bishop has been involved in a car accident. You're on her emergency contact list on her phone." The lady said making Andrews heart drop as he looked over at Carina who was laughing at something Gabriella said.

"Is... Is she okay?" Andrew said after a few seconds.

"We can't give any information over the phone. Are you able to come to the hospital to talk to her doctor?"  The nurse said making Andrew nod before he realized she couldn't see him.

"Yes.. yes I'll be there right away." Andrew said hanging up. He took a deep breath and went to get Carina. He saw Gio was also in the kitchen so he called Carina to the living room instead.

"Hey sis can I talk to you?" Andrew said standing by the kitchen entrance.

Carina looked at him confused as to why he had to talk to her outside the kitchen. She quickly dried her hands and went to the living room with Andrew.

"What happened? Are you ok?" Carina said looking at Andrew who had a serious expression.

"I didn't want to tell you in front of Gio but we have to go now.. I just got a call from the hospital." Andrew said as he grabbed his keys and jacket.

"Is it papa? Is he ok?" Carina said now concerned as she took off the apron she was wearing.

"No...it's Maya. Maya was in a car accident." Andrew said making Carina's heart stop.

Everything was going in slow motion for Carina. She didn't know she was crying until Andrew gave her a tissue.

"She's ok right? She's ok she's not dead?" Carina said still in shock.

"They don't want to talk to me over the phone they told me I had to talk to her doctor. Let's go." Andrew said opening the door.

"Gio." Carina said in between tears. She didn't even notice Gabriella was in the living room with her.

"Go tesoro go I got her." Gabriella said making Carina nod.

The drive to the hospital was a blur for Carina. It felt like hours before they got there. Once the car stopped Carina was the first one out and running into the hospital with Andrew close behind.

"I'm looking for Maya... Maya bishop." Carina said as she made it to the nurse's station.

"Are you family?" The nurse said looking at Carina who shook her head no unable to form words.

"I'm Andrew... Andrew Deluca they called me about her. This is my sister Carina Deluca. She's Maya's girlfriend." Andrew said making the nurse nod and type something on her computer.

"Ok follow me this way please." The nurse said as she began walking twords some rooms. The nurse stopped in front of a door and knocked slightly before opening the door.

"Ms. Bishop. We have your friend Andrew here and your girlfriend." The nurse said making a very loopy Maya pick her head up.

Carina automatically ran up to Maya looking over all her injuries as she held her hand. From what Carina could see Maya had a casted arm and a casted leg. She also had some bumps and bruises on her face but she was alert. That's all Carina cared about was that Maya was still alive.

"Bambina...." Carina said taking a shaky breath.

"Bambina...That's a funny word... It sounds like Bambi the deer." Maya giggled making Carina crack a smile and Andrew laugh a little.
