"Yeah! I'm just calling to let you know that thanks to your evidence Vincenzo Deluca was arrested this evening." Camila said making Carina and Maya gasp.

"Wait... Like actually in jail?" Carina said with a slight laugh after a few seconds.

"Yeah. He's getting processed right now. I'm pretty positive because of the severity of the situation and the threats that he made twords Maya he will have no bond so he'll be there for a while." Camila said over the phone making Carina let out a sigh of relief.

"That's... Wow... I mean thank you so much Camila. For everything you've done to help us." Carina said still not knowing what to say.

"It's my pleasure. I'm glad I could help you out. From what I heard Vincenzo was not an easy guy to arrest. He put up quite a fight." Camila said with a small laugh.

"Of course he did.... He's Vincenzo fighting and being stubborn is what he does best." Carina said with an eye roll.

"I could see that. He might try to contact you so I went ahead and filed a no contact order meaning if he does contact you for any reason he will be charged. We should have a paper signed by the judge sometime tomorrow and I'll send it to you." Camila said making Carina nod.

After Camila explained a couple of other  things they hung up. Carina looked at Maya with teary eyes.

"Baby... Hey what's wrong?" Maya said as she sat up as best that she could before pulling a now crying Carina into her arms and holding her close. All Carina did was shake her head as she buried her face in Mayas neck.

"Talk to me my love it's ok." Maya said in a whisper as she kissed Carina's head.

"I... It didn't have to be like this... If he would've just listened to what I was telling him he wouldn't be in jail...." Carina said after a few minutes as she was holding on to Maya.

"I know baby... I'm sorry..." Maya said kissing and caressing Carina's head.

"I know that you and Gio are safer if he's in jail but... I just wish things ended differently." Carina said with a sniffle.

"He's your dad so I get it. I would be just as devastated if it was Lane I had to put in jail." Maya said making Carina nod.

"It's times like this that I miss my mamma the most... I wish she was here." Carina said making Maya kiss Carinas head.

"You know you never talk much about mamma Deluca. Tell me about her." Maya said as she looked at Carina who gave her. Asked.

"Well first, she hated being called mamma Deluca. She said it made her sound old." Carina said with a small laugh.

"Noted..." Maya said with a smile.

"She was so beautiful and so caring and always so generous. She would always put others needs before her own." Carina began to say as she held Mayas hand.

"So like you in a way..." Maya said making Carina smile.

"No bambina I wish I could be at least half of the woman my mamma was."Carina said before taking a deep breath.

"I'm pretty sure you already are baby you just don't see it." Maya said with a smile as Carina shook her head.

"She used to be such a hard worker. I remember her and papa would argue all the time because he wanted her to stay home and she refused because Papa would leave his job at random times due to his bipolar and she said we couldn't afford papa not having a job so she had to work. She loved her job." Carina said making Maya smile.

"Yup. Exactly like you." Maya said making Carina pout.

"Mayaaa. But I'm not! I might look like her but I'm no where close to her." Carina said making Maya roll her eyes with a smile.
